Her mom's a nurse practitioner. And, that's her biological dad, who's a gastroenterologist. Her brothers are her half-siblings from her mother's previous marriage.

Amanda's kids are adorable and Ben was pretty good with them but wasn't feeling it for her. I wonder if they wanted him to bring her to f4 to keep her in the mix for Bachelorette?

I loved Lauren's HTD, all of it. She picked the best place to bring Ben. My dh would be jealous. She has such a nice looking family and her brothers were too cute when "grilling" Ben. This had the feel of a real life family visit when you're falling for their daughter. Ben was so emotional about Lauren that it's hard to imagine there's anyone else in his heart.

Caila's HTD was my 2nd favorite. I thought the toy factory part was adorable and Ben seemed to really enjoy it. I thought the family part was setting her up for being the Bachelorette, especially her dad talking about her Filipino heritage. Her mom is beautiful. I don't think that Ben has fallen for Caila but was surprised to hear him say it was the most deep relationship.

Jojo's date was just a big trainwreck. I could barely watch it. The whole ex part was too contrived and I don't understand the point. The brothers were just posturing for the tv. They may have had real questions but they didn't want to give Ben a chance to answer. My thought watching it was that this killed Jojo's chance for lead and that's why she is likely f2.

I tried to figure out the preview but we need the SCs to get it straight. It's hard to tell which one other than Lauren receives an ILY.

That was when I almost peed in my pants!!

Must be interesting for Ben to have watched this back. He lived it but to see it must be a trip for him.

Just to add to the bachelor /reality connection. The woman proposed to by Ben Patton on Ready for Love used to pretend with Elan that they were engaged. Her name is Angela ? don't recall her last name but she was highlighting her faith and choice to remain a virgin until marriage.

My take on the episode:

Amanda is sweet and nice, her girls were cute. I felt bad for them having to suffer the camera crew when they most likely would've enjoyed time with their mom after her being gone for a while. I'm sorry for being judgmental, but that's how I feel about including little kids to a tv show like this.

BenLo: each time I see them, it feels like she's the lead and he's pursuing her. IMO she's as smitten and giddy about him, seems genuine. Their balance is just different IMO. Good different, though. Their date was great, really enjoyable. Her family seems really 'together' and welcoming. Ben cried?!?! He's a goner!! Was there really no itm from Ben after their date, or did I miss it? VERY telling!

Caila: She seems so great, nice, fun date. I just don't see that deep feelings there.

JoJo: 5-6 red flags went up. Messy ex, who's still too involved in her life. It sounds like with my math that she was still involved withbhim when the application process started for the bachelor. Messy family, and rude brothers. JoJo was pushed so much to the front it's not even funny. It was great comedic stuff though.

I can see why Amanda was gone, Ben's not ready to be a step dad for 2 little kids.

IMO there's no question, Lauren's miles ahead of everyone else with Ben.
