I'm curious. On Lauren's lcd, do we see her say the words, "Yesterday, Ben spent the last day with JoJo. " or was it a voice over?

I just watched the Ben and JoJo's love story summary on the ABC site (I've actually watched it about six times). No matter who Ben picks in the end I have enjoyed the JoJo and Ben love story and I think she is the better fit for him. I like Lauren too but just see a deeper relationship with JoJo. JMO.

Couldn't agree more. Ben and JoJo's love story was more real to me. I read where a friend of Ben's said before the show that Ben was looking for a partner, someone nice to all, with fire and spunk. Who does that sound like? Lauren? or JoJo? Also, I wonder about what Ben wrote in his blog after HTDs with both. Talking about Lauren he said" And I was really happy that Lauren's family was able to see how "seriously I am taking this" he said "THIS" . and how much Lauren means to me as well. Talking about JoJo he said regarding her family (brothers?) "Watching the show now, I hope they can "see" how "incredibly serious" I was about JoJo.and that I just wasn't ready or in any position to them that I was definitely going to propose to their sister. I find his choice of words interesting on each of them. I also found it fascinating when the were sitting on rock with backs to camera when she said "did you think we would be here" He said "Yes" She said "I didn't" He said "you doubted it, I knew we would be here" When did he know they'd be there? and how long did he know it? Maybe at the same time he promised he would NOT blindside her and then stressed it again with " I PROMISE" Also, when he told JJ that night that " when things got difficult he would draw her closer and hoped she would do the same" I got the feeling he was trying to tell her something more like "thinks are going to get tough so don't pull away but hang in there and stay close to me" Just a few things that I can't seem to put to rest or figure out why he said the words he did to JJ if he proposes to Lauren she may have the same questions and JJ sure should have those questions answered if she F2. JMO

My question now is why so many previews/videos that relate directly to JoJo. First we had the bloopers which featured JoJo, then the bathroom scene, then we had Ben's mom picking JoJo, then the ITMs of Lauren and JoJo about their doubts on the LCD, then we had a conversation between Ben and his JoJo about the future of their relationship post show. Why so many videos on JoJo at this final stage? Is it that they deliberately set the stage all through the season to build up Lauren as the F1, but now they wanted a cliffhanger or a dramatic effect that they are now putting emphasis on JoJo's relationship with Ben so that it will be more real when he chooses her? I don't know just trying to come to terms with why JoJo is being featured so prominently at this stage of the process when all throughout she was mostly in Lauren's shadow. Are they setting her up to be Bachelorette?

^that is the only thing that makes sense to me at this point...not to mention her exuberance and warmth she has been throwing all season long on SM.

IMO, yes, they are setting the stage for Jo to be the Bette. I've felt that way since week 6 when the articles about this devastating finale started leaking. The focus was very much on the F2. We'll see

I am looking at the edit again and am stuck in episode 4. I'll share it when I lay it out for myself to try and make sense of the season.

I like this thread and all the JoJo love.... she is one my favorites and I think she will be a great lead. Can't wait to watch her season. They better give her some great guys!

I agree that they've done so much soft promoting in the last few weeks. The LCD teaser kind of sealed the deal for me. Why put that out there if they were not preparing the avg viewer for the "break up"...it helps smooth the way for JoJo to be The Bachelorette. Normally, I think they'd opt for the suspenseful end but the leaks about it have been so mainstream that who will be The Bachelorette almost became a bigger story especially with the Caila backlash.

Yay for JoJo..really hope her season is a good one.
