It's not any different to how Chris lead on Kaitlyn and Jade, Sean lead on Lindsay, Ashlee and Des, Ben F lead on Lindzi, Nicki, and Kacie, ect... every single season the lead encourages the F4 girls to completely open up to them and every season 2-3 girls are left blindsided and heartbroken. It sucks and I wish Ben didn't go along with what the producers want so transparently, but it's not like he's the first one to do it.

I know they all do it, but the way that Ben is doing it seems worse for some reason. Maybe it's because a lot of those contestants didn't seem to really fall for the lead or have that history of insecurity and cheating. Especially knowing that he'll eventually say ILY and possibly engage in FS activity. I guess it seems most comparable to Kaitlyn telling Nick she loved him, knowing his history, which I also thought was unnecessarily cruel of her. IMO.

When Lauren said I'm not in love with Ben the Bachelor, I'm in love with Ben from Warsaw...that's what he wanted. To me, that's all Ben has wanted! Agh, I can't wait to see how this all pans out. ;)

Yep. He's a big time people pleaser imo and will do as authority tells him to keep the peace and be the golden child. I'm a huge fan of his but I've definitely seen this in him starting with the games he was willing to play to become the lead in the first place. Oh well. No one is perfect. He's pretty close

IDK, maybe it's me, but I don't see them out of the friends with benefits zone who are acting a script for a reality tv show. They both know their lines and their roles and enjoy playing them and playing grind on me when they can. That's all I see. Two people physically attracted playing out a storyline and who also like each other.

First time we saw a couple eat food on the show- Ben and Amanda took a bite of their egg McMuffins.

Don't get at all how Becca was "blindsided" or even surprised. She literally begged Ben for validation and reassurance and he did not give it to her. How could she not know she was not going to get a rose? :strings1

I disagree Ben and Jojo are acting. These people aren't actors, it's infinitely more advantageous to get Jojo into this thing for real to get good reactions, same for Ben and same for everyone else. It's the bubble for sure but right now (now as in during filming), I think it was extremely real to her and Ben, and he knew what he was doing, but probably delusioned himself into believing he's innocent and it's part of the journey. Just like many/most leads before him.

Precisely why her tears felt so forced to me. It's almost like she turned on the tears because she wanted the benefit of the public seeing that and then getting their sympathy. Seemed very calculated to me.

No idea! But the intent and encouragement is there imo, and Ben will continue doing as he's told and is just generally easy to brainwash.
