Unfortunately, the buzz words and phrases that the producers are making him use to sound "deep" and produce "meaningful" conversation doesn't work with him. Too unnatural.
But Ben had the benefit of almost everyone hating Kaitlyn at that point so no me cared he was spinning his wheels because it was obvious that it was the Shawn and Nick show. Ben never even got a HTD. I don't see this 'perfect Ben' season as similar at all for any potential lead.
