The Bachelor 20 - Ben Higgins - Episode 5 - Discussion - *Sleuthing - Spoilers*

on Ben's promise to Jojo about not being blindsided, I didn't see is as any major hint, though I understand how many perceive it that way.

I simply understood it as Ben telling her he would always be honest about his feelings towards her, which I think he is and he will. In a "I really really like you but I'm here to explore other relationships as well" kind of way - they both know that going into this show.
Leading her on would be hinting her how she's the one without actually meaning it, which he doesn't do. and I think as time will progress, she will easily notice the connection of him with Lauren

I'm sure she has already started since she mentioned it when he took Lauren for a long one on one time

I have to say that we don't know this at all yet and based on the preview if he tells JoJo "I love you" but she's F2, that's a pretty big blindside/lead-on.  JMO.

Maybe he'll propose a sister wife type of deal. That's never been done before.

This preview surprisingly aired right when RS spoiled Ben was way obvious about LaurenB. And he was.

He's in his FRC suit when he closes that limo door and when he says "I still want her in my life. That's how much I love her" or whatever, so I'm not so sure Ben lets his F2 go early.

Yikes. I still think he ends up with Lauren, but there's a difference between playing the part and acting, versus the way Ben was in that preview and what he was saying. I wouldn't be thrilled if I was JoJo or Lauren. But I do get it, this show must be so confusing for all involved.

I guess I'm weird because i am really not buying the preview and him being in love with the both of them. You don't go from being all about Lauren to loving them both. Plus there is a difference between being in love and loving someone.

He may have been saying that about his F1.....and we are taking it in the wrong context.

Example...."Lauren told me she doesn't know if she would move to Denver right away. I still want her in my life. That's how much I love her."

That promo is so clipped it's not even funny.
