IMO the answer April fools, was making a mockery out of the relationship. What was the purpose of that response?

These two are perfect for each other, until one of them gets tired of obeying commands.

Plenty of my friends are happily married after setting a date less than six months after they began dating. Someone's you just know. JMO. Like my boyfriend and I JUST started dating after I broke off my two year engagement and I already feel like he will be my husband (obviously not right away) which considering I was engaged to my ex for two years and never felt right about getting married, proves my point, when you know you know.

It's not my place to call anyone crazy or doomed obviously but I've done the long engagement and the whole not set a wedding date and usually it means something is up.

Not that Kait and Shawn have been engaged for long. I just don't see these two getting married. IMO.

My take on that shoot was it was a paid shoot? Is that incorrect? So maybe it had nothing to do with them as a couple other than making a few bucks and having some nice photos. 
I did not in any way shape or form take it to be an engagement shoot for them as a couple. I have never seen engagement photos where they bride to be is decked out as if they were wedding photos. To me that's bad luck. LOL  Many commented that the photos looked like a wedding shoot. It was confusing.

Definitely think they photoshoot was basically a paid advertise arranged with Brides.com. It seemed much more editorial than the standard engagement pictures we get from the couples.

I have no gut feeling one way or the other whether they will tie the knot but I just don't see Kaitlyn as the overly romantic, can't wait to plan the wedding kind.  To her, it's all about the party/reception/open bar.  She has mentioned Shawn is the more romantic of the two.  Plus, they continue to stress the getting to know each other part (although being together 24/7 should be plenty of getting to know you time imo).  If anything, if they don't break up, I can see them living together or being on and off for several years as opposed to a wedding (unless it's televised/paid for).  They might even have a child before they wed like Ali.  Hopefully, this is years in the future when life is a bit more stable (or as stable as Kaitlyn can be)

Bach AU Sam Wood gave a promise ring and 6 months later is engaged and already bought a house with his F1 and plans to get married asap.

If these leads are serious they will state a timeline for marriage. All the successful couples did so.

There's a reason all of those who are married were very open about saying they wanted to get married. The issue isn't that K&S don't have a date, it's that they hem and haw about being married at all and talk about "one day at a time" (which is Bach talk for never, imo). Yet they still want to get $$$$ for engagement/wedding photo shoots.

IMO, both Shawn and Kaitlyn are fools and taking their followers for a ride to think otherwise.

I think back to the ridiculous excuses the previous 'ette made for delaying wedding plans. It was so obvious to some she was always talking out of both sides of her mouth. Taste test the food, just enjoy being engaged, yeahhhhh, everything evolves around the dress. Spring would be lovely but by summer, no plans. JPG's isn't being invited if he doesn't put a ring on it, and Kate Middleton's dress was to die for. She's open to a TV wedding because they'd like to do it for their fans. uh huh. All paraphrasing and going by memory.

One thing that K is doing right, is not specifying a date. Up until the ridiculous April fools date, I don't believe she ever gave a hint of a time frame other than saying in the new year they'll start planning. That's the way to do it when you don't want it thrown back in your face.

^ Considering Jimmy Kimmel made Kaitlyn and Shawn take vows about staying together otherwise they wasted everyone's time I think Kaitlyn not having a date is pretty telling that she doesn't want to have that replaying on TV screens everywhere if they don't marry.

Some may say that is smart but I think it is just purely based on keeping one foot out the door so she can say she never said anything official. After all, this is the girl who said her worst fear in a relationship is that SHE will fall out of love and get bored. To me, Kaitlyn's April Fools remark was a joke because she is one.
