Amanda Stanton - Bachelor 20 - *Sleuthing - Spoilers*

I would prefer Amanda not be the bette for two reasons:

1. Her annoying baby voice. It's driving me crazy already.
2. I don't want to hear more whining about missing her kids. She came on the show voluntarily. Nobody forced her. I've had more than enough of parents coming on the show and then going on about how much they miss their kids. Then don't come! Particularly don't come a second time!!!

I did find her reaction to the barettes genuine and sweet and I found her more likable than I thought I would, but.... I totally agree with you. She shouldn't be on the show and what's with no pics of them? Kids that little miss their moms desperately. She should be home.

She's very sweet and likable woman but the tears already are too much for me since it was her choice in the first place to do this. I also hate when the single parent's storyline is all about them being a single parent. I'd rather watch someone like JJ where there's more to their storyline.

Amanda is cute. I see no chemistry with her and Ben, but it was sweet that he was so engaged in the topic of her kids and it was sweet how she reacted to him being that way.

Agree ^, agree ^, agree ^! And I just cannot get past how it even enters your mind that you SHOULD leave your kids for 8 WEEKS!!

I must be in the minority as I LOVE Amanda. I know of many parents who have to be gone for long periods be it for work, military, or other reasons and the kids have all come out fine. I mean if this show should have been around when I was a single mom I honestly think I would go on it, if it gave me the chance to find love, good friends, and a possible job prospect. Yes the kids come first but if they are well cared for by family they love then I see no problem with it. JMO!

I really like her too so far! 

I know people said she chose to go on, but people are also choosing to go into the military or go on business trips. I also think that Amanda probably has had a tough few years with a divorce and becoming a single mother at such a young age. She seemed so genuinely touched and shocked when Ben made those hair clips for her kids -  it made me think she isn't used to being treated with that much kindness. He kids seemed so loved by their dad, aunt, and grandmother so I'm sure they were more than fine. I also think she could use this show to increase her business profits, which would help give her kids a better life. I just don't think it's always that black and white.

Add me to the list of Amanda fans. She is so pretty and therefore I'm glad she is on the show and made it really far in the process. Plus we get to see her girls which is a bonus.

I don't care if she decides to put her children up for adoption to go gallivanting around every reality show that will have her, I just can't with the crying and whining and acting like she's left the kids to go rescue puppies and kittens in a war torn developing nation. Please. Stop.

She's annoying, just stop crying please.

I agree. This simply was not "Sophie's Choice".  Can't stand the heat, don't volunteer for a job in the kitchen.

I think a lot of the women cry in their IMO's.  The producers choose which ones their going to show to further the storyline.
