The Bachelorette Australia - Sam Frost - Season 1 - Episode Discussions - #2 - *Spoilers - Sleuthing*

1. Art Green modeled/models (fitness his occupation) and was Bachelor for NZ (he modeled just recently for NZ fashion week on runway).
2. Tim Robards modeled/models (fitness his occupation) and was Bachelor.
3. Sam Wood modeled/models (fitness his occupation) and was Bachelor.
4. Blake did some "modeling" too (real estate agent his occupation) and is known as Blake the Snake (and long before he did a Mesnick).

One can quickly see that perception of modeling is not the issue for Australian viewers but the real estate thing is.

Add in tall poppy syndrome of being a pro-athelete and there goes the negative perception for Michael.

He can be a great person in real life but it doesn't matter. He knew what he was getting into and so I don't feel sorry for him just like I never felt sorry for Nick when he went back on the show.

I don't need to be convinced of anything. My opinion doesn't matter at all nor will it be the truth or reality for why anyone goes on a show or moreso stays on the show (which is what interests me more).

Time and time again the word "judge" is used and it is misplaced, IMO. Judgment to me is based on character and a real person. I don't know these people. These people are not real to me.

Yes I know! And I agree with you. Many of those contestants in a way or other have been doing some kind of job with modeling... STRIPPING , body building etc... Not easy to come out with all those 6 pack guys!

SAME as some girls with very good figures, they also try to make some profit from their nice bodies. And it might not mean anything and they can be wonderful people but it always leaves you with a doubt about their main interest into being on a TV show.

ALL IS GOOD

No one goes on a TV show just for love.
No one. There are no exceptions.
What they stay on the show for may end up being a different story (someone goes on for adventure and falls in love for example).
None of it makes one good or bad.
Some are just liked more than others.
It is always the case.

I noticed that on Michael's and Richie's introduction videos they are shown showing their 6 packs... And I can only imagine there is an interest behind. In the case of Sasha...there was nothing related with his body....

Anyways, make me wonder what could have motivated for example Sasha or Alex? Both of them with the kind of jobs they have, can not really benefit from being in the show....

Those intro videos are all about "selling" an image to the viewers. IMO.

Richie and Michael both get the muscles and a "single guy" intro video edit (so the ladies get the muscles to look at).

Also Richie gets the "looking over water" intro video which Osher the host tweeted about and this is exactly what all the Bachelor leads get = first shot of them is the lead looking over the water. It's why it won't surprise me if it was planned that Richie would be next lead if he is.

The other body emphasized stuff both Richie and Michael got (Richie doing pushups/pullups/ab crunches and Michael having a shower). It's all about getting the ladies interested in these men and seeing them as viable "single" men that women should chase after.

In contrast, Sasha gets the "taken" edit with him talking to his mom (so family man) and so his intro video edit is all about him being the F1-taken guy.

And then ol' Davey the larriken gets the intro video of him with his mates. So just a lad who is not one the ladies will chase after the same way as Richie or Michael and not F1-taken like Sasha.

It's just the storyboard they are selling, imo, and was sold from the first Intro videos of these guys.

The whole story was right there in those intro videos, imo.

Just out of interest. Not playing devils avocado here, what else does Sash get to do other than skydive. I noticed that the they are skydiving off the coast so perhaps a picnic or something? Just seems that Richie and Michael get to do all day and night type of activities.
