The Bachelorette Australia - Sam Frost - Season 1 - Episode Discussions - #2 - *Spoilers - Sleuthing*

@niqa86 @Italy12 and @Bookworm all opinions/comments are welcome ... so once the writing bug starts ... I hope it doesn't end here.

Sleuth away ... cheer and "cry" if you need to, get things off the chest, we can read the rants and "crazy theories" ... (as long there's no against each other only "against" the cast) ... and we can make fun all we want ...

Talking about "the disappointment" ... I sincerely believe that it helped me this season not being behind the Bette, meaning, not being Sam's fan (not investing myself emotionally) and basically following everything more from your posts than actually watching, so I also didn't get a chance to really get a feel of who Sam might be (or form any impression I would have a strong conviction of) ... I really don't find her choices "wrong" ... since they "must be" right for her.

Also, considering that we can all agree that the "beauty" is in the eyes "of the beholder" ... the famous attraction and even more so underlined physicality is subjective ... I believe it's nothing unusual and wrong to follow that chemistry and that attraction ... especially if it is supported by a personal compatibility ... and despite the comparisons with Andi&Josh, I see Sam and Sasha much more "fitting" and their feelings and the progress of their relationship on the show much more organic and real than A&J ever was (sorry to A&J fans, I didn't really see those 2 "strong-heads" making it) ... so that gives me an open mind that things might work for them ... and obviously I know little about both, so maybe their union is actually "perfect". I'm not gonna doubt, just cheer for a good luck to all.

That said, I believe we all follow the attraction ... it's what attracts us that makes the difference ... and thank god for that diversity ... that some see Sasha as a hot, gorgeous guy, who they fancy and crush on ... so great for Sasha, that Sam is one of those people ...

I would love to meet a guy who would fancy me and I'm pretty sure I'm not everyone's "taste".

Sasha doesn't do it for me, but Richie moves all my lady parts ... for some others there's Michael and there are people who dream of that baldy head of Alex ...

and these guys are lucky, that there are many different women out t(here) who want THAT particular guy.

Attraction as we discussed doesn't come just from the body (features) ... but from the energy, attitude, mentality, personality, character etc. too ... and I would give Sam a benefit of a doubt that she did observe good and chose "her man" because of all of his attributes beyond his physicality ... also, maybe it was along the process that she realized why the initial gut-feeling of that attraction/spark stood the ground ... and maybe she found her "soulmate".
IDK, but i can't judge through her eyes ... because obviously we have a different "appetite".

As for Sam the lead ... my verdict is still open ... let's see how she handles the final eliminations, keeping in mind that the guys' feelings are heightened and that she was misleading in her role.

Is it me or does Sam seem subdued and still nervous around Sash? Her personality seems toned down on this date with him IMO

I like the Sam I see with Richie and Michael better than the Sam with Sasha. She is more herself with them than with Sasha IMO. If i was her id definitely choose Michael or Richie but since its her journey and all.... Cheers to her and her choice

Character wise Sasha is an A+. I like him. Great interview. Some awesome quotes (just with my phone I cant copy)... I have to give him "credit" for the self-deprecation and straight-forwardness. He's a man. Major points scored. I think he's a catch. And he called his head a melon...
I'm sorry Sash if I gave you a hard time 'cos of your looks... but after this interview I find you more appealing.

I can't imagine Richie crying and being so upset and heartbroken. This breaks my heart because he really is falling for Sam and I can see him getting so blindsided. We see Sam crying aswell in the promo which makes things so much more sad. Aw poor Richie, I bet social media will go crazy on Wednesday, tune in guys at 7:30 to witness the most heartbreaking moment in history... They better edit it emotionally and good! I want Richie to have the best exit

What do you think of Alex's surprise?

I really like all four of Sam's F4 and have really enjoyed watching this season. I think Sam is a sweetheart but it has been a stretch for her to be the lead on this series resulting in some/a lot of her interactions with the guys coming across as a little stilted.
I think Sam realizes that her F4 are all gems but I am not sure that she got /took the chance to fully explore the potential of each. The season was so short!
Sasha will be a good partner for her. It took me a while to warm up to him but I like him a lot and can see why Sam does too. He is rock solid in every way. I think Sam needs (or thinks she needs) that steadfastness  at this point in her life. Whether he is exciting and spontaneous enough for her to go the distance with...time will tell. They have to be a couple outside of the bachelor bubble and see….

I'm really not sure which way its going to go. There have been a lot of interviews and articles where Sam has said we'll be surprised and talking about the underdog but I wonder if that's all just misdirection.
Sam and Sasha definitely have a physical connection but there seems to be more little moments with Michael where she puts her hand on his knee or they are just more natural with each other. But then I thought Sam Wood and Snezana had more of a physical connection than a deep and meaningful connection and he still chose her so I obviously have no idea what I'm talking about .

After watching the HTDs I'm more convinced that its Michael. IMO, Sam's body language said it all. She said all the rights words with each guy's family but it was the little things that she did & how she was with Michael. I think that they have passion and it looks quite natural between them. They look very comfortable with each other. I don't see an awkwardness between them. I think she will choose Michael.
I think at the beginning Sam had a crush on Sasha which fizzled maybe due to lack of passion. This is all my opinion of course.

Just to prepare for the worst case (since I've already been there with my fave Richie), Michael is 100% F2 and Sasha is F1.

Had inside info on Michael not being F1 for a while and it was just confirmed by the same source he is F2. 100% guaranteed. Whatever Sam is saying is as meaningless as her watching her date with Richie and as meaningless as her brother faving a tweet that Richie wins. She could say she hates Sasha and it means nothing. Sasha won and is F1, 100% guaranteed.

That being said, I am happy for those that see a love story with Michael and are enjoying him. We each have our faves and even if they are not F1, they can still be enjoyed.
