The reason for this, imo, is based on the obvious edit which viewers were misled by when watching Heather so it's not so much Sasha they think won't win it's that Sasha is the obvious one so this creates doubt that he will win and this doubt is reflected in the majority of viewers votes for those polls (which are small in number compared to viewers) but are substantiated by even Top comments on Bette Aussie FB where many are now saying Richie. Makes sense b/c he is the late/dark horse in the season and Sasha has been there day one.

That the seasons were back to back and viewers are the same viewers who watched Sam and Heather and then choose Snez, they are likely seeing it the same way that Sasha is Heather and Richie is Snez. But this time, all signs, imo, point to Sasha the obvious one being F1. And that is the surprise really, because that was expected last time and it didn't happen so it is least expected now and if it happens... surprise.
