Based on the article on Richie, I would say he is not bursting at the seams with excitement in that photo of him. I think he looks a bit sad?
The reason I say this is because his best mate whom I have sleuthed posted a photo on Sept 23 (so premiere day of show) of Richie and himself and Richie looks exactly the same in the photo as in the article photo - same clothes and hair styled same so likely same day he did the photoshoot for the article.

His friend said that Richie was nervous and IMO he looks nervous and apprehensive in both photos. I would think if he was F1 he would be super excited to see the show? If F2, then I could see it being a painful rehash of the past if his heart was broken...
Darn I really hope he is not F2.

Hopefully it's because he just came back from a gruelling work assignment.  Another question is why is he doing a photoshoot on the same day as the premiere.  Also he is probably nervous because he is F1.. His buddy seems happy for him.

Very true. Who knows though, maybe his buddy is just happy his friend is on TeeVee.
And I heard from someone who knows Richie personally that he has watched with his mates the show so who knows...

I don't know. I guess I will see. There's evidence that goes both ways for Richie and I am not sure. It is interesting he is following Lisa now on Twitter. I really, really want him to be F1 but that's b/c I think Sam is perfect for him. Will see.

As busy as I am I had to check in here to get an update on Richie.

Yeah that's the same best mate that posted about Richie and him being nervous.
The whole thing about life giving one lemons only further makes me think Richie may be F2

Such a shame.
