Bachelor Australia - Season 3 - Sam Wood - (Male) - Episode Discussion - *Sleuthing - Spoilers*

We know that all 6 girls remain for Ep 11. Then on Ep 12, 1 girl goes home.

Here are the Episode summaries for the next two weeks....

Week 6 (Sept 2 & 3)
Episode 11: During a single date like no other, hearts race as Sam organises for UK singer/songwriter Jamie Lawson to serenade one lucky lady!
Episode 12: With a place in the Top 5 within their grasp, the bachelorettes get creative this week as they show off their artistic skills on a group date with Sam as their muse.

Week 7 (Sept 9 & 10)
Episode 13: For the last group date leading up to the all-important hometown visits, Sam and his final five girls brace torrential rain and head for a weekend at a beach house.
Episode 14: Sam travels to the country to meet the friends and families of the final four girls during the hometown visits. Will he survive the grilling from protective parents and friends?

When its says "Sam travels to the country to meet..." sounds like he is not going to actual hometowns.." otherwise it should say across the country.

I think a lot of the changes in budget, timing of filming, and travel have to do with the first ever Bachelorette season in Australia. Won't surprise me if they stayed in the Sydney area (Sam said all the filming was around that area in interview) and flew family to locations in the area for staged hometowns.

If they aren't giving us actual hometown visits, they better travel out of the country for the f3/f2

They rented a place for Lisa and Jess, I believe. Only Sam and Louise had actual hometowns in their families homes (Sam's sister and Louise's parents).

I am not sure they travel out the country for F3/F2. They might but based on what I recall Sam saying about filming in the beautiful areas of Sydney I won't be surprised if they didn't. Seems like they were wanting to film the Bette asap and have it air right away (Osher said it will air after this season ends... so likely Sept 26 week). Also won't be surprised if most of the girls on this season applied to be The Bachelorette. I am sure one of them will be when it is all said and done. With recycling happening, it makes sense to be on the season prior.

Not quite sure, something to do with logistics for Lisa (in same area, but by the water) and Jess, no idea except it sounded like her family weren't keen to have filming in their home. (She was also rumoured to have done some high class escorting so who knows )

I know Heather was born in Brisbane. Is her mum still there? Potentially he may need to go to Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. That's huge

I would think that Heather's HTD would be in Sydney with her sister and friends (no idea if mother will be... her story sounds similar to Sam Frost and they made Sam's HTD about her sister).

I doubt they would fly to Perth. Seems far and Osher already said in Periscope that Snez's child would not be on the show.

Lana is in Sydney, I believe and Sarah is in Melbourne so not sure...

Rochelle had her hometown in Perth in season 1 so I don't think it's bc it's far but instead they might not go to save time and money.

Agree with your theory AAL. Last season they rented places in the same areas/states/meaningful places the girls has lived in - maybe for Snez they did not have time to go to Perth. I guess they could be doing a Kaitlyn but there were only 2 families there. I think it's going to look cheap after Sth Africa, Thailand and Bachelor New Zealand if they don't at least travel to Queensland or say Uluru. They may even get a bit of a blacklash from the Melbournians for the show being too Sydney centric.
