Bachelor Australia - Season 3 - Sam Wood - (Male) - Episode Discussion - *Sleuthing - Spoilers*

ooooh ... just for a reminder ... of a true/real friend ... (I'm so laughing right now ... I was waiting for this moment since the beginning ... when the true colors of Bec would be revealed) ... a girl who from a day 1 was showing signs of jealousy, anger, ENVY* and resentment ...

and in episode 2 ... when Snezana was posing with the "James Bond" Sam ...

Heather said (talking about Snezana): "that's so beautiful, makes me sweat"

Bec (talking about Snezana): "makes me wanna vomit a little bit ... people like that just shouldn't exist in this world"

Bec   congratulations for finally putting down the mask of a true friend.

she also stated in her ITMs/PIs that "her Sam" and "Heather's Sam" are 2 different "Sams" ... so Snezana had the same approach to Heather ... as Heather had towards Snezana ... 2 women who respect each other.

IA that supporting each other is good but cheering on when you are clearly invested and affected is another thing. A tad overdone in my opinion.

What may be seen as a tad overdone I see as someone who has the ability to have self-less love, who, even if not F1 would cheer for the happiness of those she cares about and respects.

And this is from Snez's greatest competition for F1, Heather, who is supporting and cheering for Snez's happiness and separating that from her own.

Heather makes me think that she wants something real. That she wants Sam to explore every option 100% so if she is F1, she will know he left no stone unturned. I'd want the same thing.

And when it comes to supporting and cheering for someone else's happiness? I'd take that any day over the rude, jealous, and mean things that those who don't have a chance in hell of being F1 -- Bec or Emily for example -- have said.

Ebru was saying that if Snezana continues to gush about Sam as she does (after her date) she will have enemies in the house (oh Ebru, were you speaking about yourself?) ...

the way I see it ... Heather doesn't see Snezana as her enemy ... neither does Snezana see Heather as hers ... and Why should they? ...

It's Sam who has to decide ... and I believe Ebru ... and the other "duo of girls still in the house" ... are way more preoccupied about their "competition" with other women than their real connection with Sam.


Heather and Snezana are 2 different women and similar at the same time:
both have very similar approach to dating the same guy, both are classy and expressive, passionate and creative ... both are downplaying their dates for the other girls, not mentioning the kissing and only discussing about the environment of the date but not the content.
Heather may not be really in "Snezana's league" in all honesty (just because of the confidence maturity), but that doesn't make her any less of a woman who just might be right for Sam.

I like both of them the same ... I feel closer to Heather (because she reminds me of me ... I'm so full of myself ) ... but I love and admire women like Snezana.

It is not a "competition" for Heather and Snez. It is real life and real feelings.

In many ways Heather reminds me of Matilda and how she would cheer for the other women too while still being very, very hurt (but would keep that to herself). And Matilda was also besties with the F2 as well and still is.

That type of support for other women despite one's own pain is what I truly admire and love to see more of when it comes to women.

I just remembered thu's ep (ep 10) is the episode where he takes 5 frontrunners on a dinner date in complete darkness. That should be really entertaining.

Yep....I am expecting some accusation of Sam playing hanky panky with one of the girls in the dark to stir up another commotion

IA. Sam looked disconnected or distracted or not enthusiastic when they were talking. Maybe he was tired after a long day shooting the 1-on-1 with Snez. I didn't get their usual vibe and they didn't even hold hands.

This is what Sam said (in VO) when he pulled Heather aside at the CP:

"I can't help but feel that Heather is starting to feel a little challenged by the fact that we have these amazing dates & then I go on dates with other girls.
I guess I am concerned that is could compromise what we have"

Then while sitting with her, he said "I feel like I'm someone that should be there for you"

IMO, if his body language seemed "off", its because he was nervous that she could potentially leave - hence the "concerned it could compromise what we have"
