Yeah. And apparently one of the things JP said in the finale about 'love or nothing' is something Elan says a lot. Some of the past bach/ettes tweeted him about it.

I'm totally a nerd about this interview, I just love it so much! I just noticed something new. When Ash is showing off her ring to the audience, she finally spotted JP's parents and just started waving at them with a big smile. Too cute!

mnm, I noticed this too-- very cute! EVEN CUTER-- was when they first came out, you can tell when JP sees his parents! He is smiling and then all of a sudden his smile hits his eyes and he have way raises his and Ashley's hand and nods his head as if to say-- "yep, I got her!" I'm wondering if this was the first time that his folks had seen them once they got back to NY!! Unbelievably cute!

Also, talk about nerd: this morning I have GMA on and all of a sudden the teaser going to commercial was: up next the hardhat heart throb ! The very first thought I had was: I didn't know JP was going to be on again!?!?! Just to find out, no, it's not JP-- it's a construction worker (in NY) that is a "lounge singer" during his lunch and breaks..... I was so disappointed!

Thanks so much for pointing this out guys, this is TOO cute!! I loved seeing Ash and JP with his family on the hometown date, and I can only imagine how happy they were to find out they were engaged. I actually wish someone would have asked JP how his family reacted to the news. They seem like such sweet people.

...how cute was Ashley pointing out her red velvet cupcakes should've been the easy & most appropriate choice for her fav dessert!? I love, love, love, these 2 to bits&pieces! :sweetheart:

Ashley said she let her family in on the secret. I wonder if JP did as well.

I have a feeling she is a much bigger fan of the whole "cupcake" thing than he is, so it's not surprising it would jump into her brain as an answer much more easily than it would his. In fact, other than occasionally calling her that to humor her, I suspect he's going to try to stay away from embracing the whole cupcake theme, and don't expect to see him in a cupcake t-shirt anytime soon! Good luck breaking him down, Ash!! :giggle:
