Well there introduction was making out and chemistry. She started acting weird after the sleigh ride there. Then when he was making snow angles she really didn't want to, in my opinion. ( she kind of acted stuck up )

I can see her realizing after a short time he was not genuine. Some people are just naturally better at feeling it out. I work in HR and usually by the time the hiring process is completed, I can peg how long someone may or may not work just by our basic interactions that take place over the course of maybe 2 weeks totaling just a few hours. I liked Sean until I saw the ring meltdown in the hotel room. From there on out, I was on high alert about him and by the end of the honeymoon I just wanted to fast forward 6 weeks for her because I didn't see it working out. (All my opinion!!)

I think Davina started to sense something was off with Sean on the honeymoon. Also, I would not want to date a person with a dui for many reasons, and that's my choice. But from the way it sounds, Davina wasn't given that choice. So I think that's where the problem lays. I believe things were kept from her.

Just because Sean has only 1 DUI on his record, doesn't mean it's not something he hasn't done before or will not do again in my opinion. It just means he got caught. I'm not saying it wasn't his first time driving under the influence. It may have been, but for Sean to drive in that condition tells me he has very little regard for others. All it takes is one car accident to create tragedy for another person. When someone decides to do that they either think they're invincible (i.e., it will never happen to me) or they just don't care. Maybe he'll never do it again. I hope for the sake of everyone else driving on the road at the same time he's driving that he doesn't. This is just my take.

Dui is one thing...

Supposedly he was committing a parole violation for this dui offense while he was on the honeymoon with Davina in Colorado.

And the MAF staff either didn't know it, or simply didn't care.

Sean is a grown man trapped in a juveniles boys' body.  There is no excuse for a middle aged man being irresponsible and getting a DUI and then violating his probation.  If he was 18-25ish, you could chalk it up to immaturity, everybody makes mistakes, blah, blah, blah...but 35?  No way.  

I think this DUI and his probation violation gives a lot of insight into his character and who he is.  I still don't understand why the experts thought he would be a good match for anyone?

Also, do we know if Davina listed criminal record as a deal breaker?  I know I would.  And we know that the experts ignored her deal breakers, so it wouldn't surprise me if she did list that as a deal breaker and they just blew it off.  

I have said it before and will say again - Davina was set up to fail, without her knowledge.  She has every right to be angry with the way she was portrayed and treated, especially by the experts.  When I think back at all the tweets they sent her during the show, it is just pisses me off - and it didn't happen to me.  Sean is a squirrely dude and I think Davina is being kind considering the circumstances.

For some reason I highly doubt that would have made a difference. IMO, Sean wasn't interested in marriage or Davina period. It's sad that these experts continue to try to make excuses for him.

This is a woman who obviously has/had trouble finding a mate so she went to a TV show for goodness sakes. Then places a stipulation about your location. She is seriously deluded if she felt that she wouldn't have problems not compromising. That's my problem with this chick. She comes off and came off as self centered. Great, she bought an expensive apartment. Do not expect your spouse to bend that far. Regardless of what people thought of Sean or his position I think it was short sighted to expect him to move into her domain. Where's the compromise? If she is/was so hard lined about her choice of mate then go somewhere else to find someone. Clearly she didn't watch the first show. I'm sorry but placing the blame for the souring of this union solely or largely on Sean is not only unfair but inaccurate...IMO

I'm sorry but IMO no one is making excuses for Sean rather they are pointing out the hypocrisy of someone who had a very public mouthpiece that was not legally bound to the show (her BFF) surrounding this whole compromise. She absolutely could have compromised on the apartment SHE just chose not to. I don't blame Sean for one second for not being into her.

I thought she purchased her apartment. If she purchased it, then she has every right to live there. Also, I'm not fully believing what any of those so called experts have to say. She was allowed a deal breaker, so she said what it was, that doesn't make her selfish, it's makes her a person who is confident in what they want to do.
