I have a really hard time figuring out how K convinced Shawn to be ok with all that -- shawn CANNOT watch this season -- based on what we saw of him he just won't be able to handle it!!

Maybe to her sex is like breathing. nbd. And she thinks that continuing to date and figure it out is part of her journey.

At the end of the day, that's all it was. She had only had ONE date with Shawn at the time. She might have used words like "husband" and "falling in love" partly under the influence of the bachelor bubble, but that doesn't mean she WAS in love or that her feelings for Nick had completely disappeared. I don't think that Shawn even has a right to be angry at Kaitlyn, since he knew what he was signing up for and he wasn't in a committed relationship with Kaitlyn at this point. I don't see why people are saying that he should feel disrespected when no one said the same for Ryan when Trista slept with her F2, Whitney when Chris slept with Kaitlyn, Courtney when Ben slept with Nikki/Lindzi, Nikki when JP slept with Clare, Jef when Emily slept with Arie, Ed when Jillian slept with Reid, Jesse when Deanna slept with Jason, and so forth. All of the final couples that broke up did so because of issues after filming, not sexual activity that occurred before they were in a committed relationship.

I have no problem with Kaitlyn being a free spirit, sexual person. Her beliefs, her body, whatever.  Get caught up in the moment with guys you're into and go for it if that's how you build relationships or just how you express yourself.

BUT,  when you meet someone who makes you say you've never had such an immediate attraction before and you feel like he's your husband when he expresses his feelings to you  - have a little self control out of respect for that person.  For me it's not the sex, but it's her being about her own gratification and not thinking beyond that.  If I'm Shawn that's a huge red flag and raises major trust issues about her impulsiveness and being in a relationship with her.

I don't get how he gets over that.  I don't really want him to right now.  And it seemed hard for him to get so open and vulnerable with her and to me she totally disrespected that effort he put in to move things forward with her.   Hard for me to imagine being a fan of how this turns out with them being a couple.  WIll have to see what happens.

Very possible! I've been wondering why they returned to the mansion for the FRC - why not do it at some cool location in Utah? Why return to the mansion and risk having someone see the F2 while traveling?

I'm sorry, but there are no excuses. Looking at the timeline of events, her lack of self-control, and utter lack of respect for every single bachelor remaining, not to mention Shawn, is unbelievable. How can Shawn's family, in any way shape or form be supportive of his relationship/engagement to Kailyn. She's made it impossible for him.

Trying to catch up with the news. Funny, I now think 100% Kaitlin released her snapchat on purpose. TPTB want it out that she chose/is with Shawn and now all the drama and focus will be over "sex-guy." I have to hand it to them. They know what they are doing.

Everyone is talking about Shawn and how Kaitlin hurt him. All the drama is making fans want to tune in and see what happens even though we know who she gets engaged too. No doubt in my mind, TPTB released the story to US Weekly.

I bet they will tie this up at the end with their version of a 'love story." ;) Kaitlin and Shawn overcame it all. Haha, I just hope that Shawn is as strong as Molly, or Des's Chris.

No offense, but I have friends who were having sex with more than one guy. She wasn't in a committed relationship with any of them, so why not? Now they were free to do the same and probably were, but on the bachelorette that is just the way it goes.

This guy as a personal trainer, who has some pictures on IG of his hanging out with models and such has probably been in the situation to have sex with more than one girl too.

No offense, but until she has only chosen one, Kaitlyn has the right to do whatever she wants. I think that any man who claims to love and want Kaitlyn would understand that to her, she would want to check out the physical aspect of a relationship before making a decision and yes even give it more than one try to make sure. In real life, would most of us agree to marry someone with having sex first? Of my friends about 98% would tell you no.

So sorry, but to me, Shawn has nothing to forgive Kaitlyn for. Now if she lied about it or did after she was only dating him, then I am on board with Shawn being forgiving.

You make some great points. I don't think we should judge kaitlin. This is a silly TV show and they ALL know what they sign up for and about the "fantasy suites!" Still defending Kaitlin because even though I don't agree with what she did, I support her and still like her.

Is it bad if I don't want Shawn to be strong? He needs to see K for who and what she is...a woman who puts sex and her lusty feelings above all else. How can you build a relationship on that?

stuck -- my confusion has nothing to do with the act of sex and k doing it at all... i just think that it is very telling that K was all in with nick all the way to sex multiple times. the "edit" of her being head over heels with shawn just isn't real. Shawn is a jealous one -- and based on how he acted with nick coming on board can you imagine how he'd react to her choosing nick over him to have sex with first? I just think it's more telling of her feelings for each guy at this point ...so it'll be very interesting how she gets from this point to the last point of deciding shawn is the guy she wants and how shawn given how *HE* is (not anyone else) could get over it all...
it just sounds crazy to me esp with how intensely both of them were communicating feelings... K had 1-1 date with a lot of guys but chose only nick to have sex with -- that is not at all an easy pill to swallow. K also brought him on the show 4 weeks in when she'd built relationships with the other guys...we saw how shawn reacted to that...

it's the context of the sex (the fact that it's shawn and the fact that K seems to completely leave her worries and inhibitions at the door with Nick) that's significant imo not the actual act of sex and it being had with multiple people
it's very clear preferential treatment which shawn was NOT ok with

Kaitlyn can sex whoever she wants but if she felt so strongly about Shawn she'd respect their relationship enough not to jeopardizes things. And Nick just got there! She is obviously lying about how close their online relationship was. I think Shawn is a good enough guy to have went along with a proposal so Kaitlyn didn't walk away alone but I give them 2 months tops once ATFR airs.
