No wonder Shawn is livid...I can't believe he got over that though?? this is very confusing

Imo, I think that Shawn was projecting a lot of his feelings about Kaitlyn keeping Nick onto Nick himself (thus calling him the "other guy"). He told Kaitlyn "I thought you were smarter than that". Yes he corrected himself but he still said it/felt it.
And by calling Nick "the other guy" Shawn was essentially in denial. As if not using Nick's a name will make Nick less real.
That to me is someone that is not so much concerned with the tabloid version of Nick but a guy who is concerned with the girl he is in love with wanting another guy enough to bring him on 4 weeks in. It could have been any guy. The problem is it is the only guy that Shawn sees as a real threat.

On another note, I'm in shock that E online didn't berate Nick yet one more time. I thought they were pretty fair with his side of the story. That is usually not the case with E, although it wasn't Kristin writing the article, maybe that's why.

To the bolded.  That doesn't matter to me.  Des said she closed her heart off because she was in love with Brooks.  I don't think that's less worse than Kaitlyn having sex with Nick and then picking Shawn while on this dating show.  But I don't have a problem with Kaitlyn (or any adult women for that matter) having sex with someone she is dating.  I will admit that it is odd to sleep with three different people in one week.  But it is the unique nature of this show and it happens almost every season with some exceptions. They are all told to treat each relationship separately.

One other thing is that I think Nick and Kaitlyn had been day (and night) drinking (as one can do in Dublin) and this caused any inhibitions to go out the window.

I realize that lots of F1's have had to overcome the lead having sex in the FS. The unfortunate thing about this is that is earlier than FS, it is so soon after her I am falling for you date with Shawn and that it is with Nick, whom Shawn already dislikes. That is tough and hopefully they really did talk it through and Shawn is able to deal with it the way he chooses to. So far, things appeared to have been working but Monday's viewing won't be easy and I suspect they will probably have discussion after it airs, assuming he watches.

When they talked it through, do you think that included Kaitlyn telling Shawn that she'd probably have sex again with Nick in the FS?  I kind of can't imagine Nick proposing if Kaitlyn told him in the FS that she wasn't interested in a repeat performance.  That's a BIG tipoff he's not "the one" that he would've picked up on.

I mean..... she did this literally a few days after Shawn interrogated her about her action not matching her words...if she cares about shawn that much..... I don't know yall -- as a woman this kind of behavior makes NO sense to me. she's putting shawn and her's relationship in jeopardy by doing exactly what he accused her of doing ; not matching her words with her actions!! what????? if shawn is F1 at this point in the filming it does not at all compute....

On the other hand -- unrelated -- but people AND edits and media seem to be softening on nick...thought it was gonna get intense with nick-hate but not at all so far... very interesting -- maybe the edit showing him in a non-villain light is having impact? can those who are not pro-nick say if their opinions have changed recently?

Kaitlyn has said to the guys that she compartmentalizes her relationships with each guy so that she is in the moment with each of them. Given this, it is not a stretch that she would view sex or a relationship as separate and thus as not a big deal.

However, not so sure the guys would view it the same way and perhaps that is why she is crying.

First time she said "you're making me cry" was to Shawn when he told her to her face that "your words don't match your actions."
This may just be the theme we see.

Emusha, I think the same. Sorry, Kaitlyn, but RUN Shawn. Take your hot manly man self and go reenact the Notebook with a girl who isn't totally off her rocker.

After all this sex talk I might just volunteer to have sex with Nick myself, to see if his actions match both outcomes. Just sayin'

Yeah, I agree. She probably told Shawn after the FS date with Nick so he was prepared it was not only a one-time deal. Can you imagine having to fess up twice.
