Shawn Booth - Bachelorette 11 - *Spoilers - Sleuthing* - Discussion #2

Shawn calling himself "Bachelor Shawn" before the season even started was one of the reasons I have been skeptical. 
It is also why this season feels like deja vu all over again: Shawn was likely brought in to either be F1 or next lead. 
I really don't want to have to watch a FRC, have to see a breakup and then hear that Shawn is now in the running for possible lead down the road. 
The recycling has got to stop, imo.  
Hopefully Bachelor Shawn will actually marry the person he asked to marry him. Now that will be refreshing.  :Nod:

that is very possible esp cos the girl talks herself up using untruths....the only thing is a lot of times we've seen enough tabloid stories to know that there are many stories that are pulled out of thin air and heresay -- pictures from years ago, insider quotes etc. but when there are real life encounters and pictures to support those encounters --- it possible that those fits under the category "where there's smoke there could be fire"

Shawn is not putting her down when she did this silly straddling thing.... he's casually, with a slick side smile holding her (look where his hands are -- the same ones that were fisted up all day) and posing for a picture. all the things she said may not be true but the guy is supposed to be engaged -- so he's either trying to get his picture taken to throw confusion at the snapchat leak or he's not acting like an engaged guy out on the town

in any case we'll see how things progress

I don't know but maybe these two fall under the category of couples that don't consider anything other than sex cheating in which case, all's good on all fronts for them.

Alanna I love your sarcasm. I agree...... and find it very curious and think TPTB are working overtime. Funny how this pic was taken right after snapgate. Wonder if his "handler" encouraged this. Me thinks so.

Wouldn't be surprised -- I don't put anything past the producers after watching unREAL

I hope unREAL will definitely open some eyes **edited** in the public... which I doubt because somehow some will still believe they are truly madly in love at the finale.... yeah yeah it happens but refresh my mind, how many times?
Sorry but I cannot erase all the jake, ben f and the long long list of dudes that turned out to be total jerks few weeks after the finale.

at least, we get to know that the lead is jerk in the middle of the season. THAT is a novelty!  

Now I am waiting some great nasty story about shawn.

I agree with you that the recycling needs to stop and I am hoping Shawn is a genuine F1 and that he and Kaitlyn are legit and can make it work post-show. Part of me is concerned that the TPTB may have this storyboard planted in which they have a devastated F1 who is unable to make his relationship work (trust issues) and heals himself in time for the Bachelor gig since this season really seems not to be heavy with candidates. Shawn fits with the buff, blond bachelor types they seem to favor so it would not be surprising if TPTB are not exactly rooting for the couple.

I don't think Shawn will be the Bach, as of 4 days ago, he was posting lovey-dovey instas about Kaitlyn. That would be super weird for him to turn on her and not look too swell either. I think he's a real f1, I just question how he's really over it all when he sees it all play out on tv in the coming weeks.

IA that this can fit the edit we have seen regarding Kaitlyn and that TPTB are only about themselves. It also won't be the first time TPTB want a F1 for lead instead. TPTB would feel like it is a win-win whether K stays with S or not = they get a fan favorite F1 or a fan favorite next lead option.
