Great input Serendipity we have been speculating on the boards of this exact scenario actually that they might have gone to F3 for the HTD!! We're not sure how/when the FDs took place but we have info that they spent 3 weeks in Ireland till E8 (I believe) which means they would have gone to F3 by HTD IMHO
Do you have confirmation about when his HTD took place? Is it like you shared last time i.e. over the past weekend?

I think the format was flipped and have said so for weeks when they went underground. Should the RC be today we would be looking at a day of travel (May1), then 2 LCD's (May2, May 3) 2MTP's(May4, May5) and FRC(May6). That provides no day offs and with days off still finishes up in normal time frame. (May 7/8). JMOAA. 
Should they be going into FD now you would be extending time frame to earliest May 11. Given with a couple days off, later than May 11th.

I also was thinking about the amount of nick info out there and had a bit of a realization how much nick is a great carrot on a stick for viewers!! 

... we know favorite contestants and their stories are the draws for them returning as leads -- that's why tptb have been so formulaic about bringing someone back who is fresh from their elimination on a previous season ...to get redeemed and "get a second chance at love" storyline

 ... Nick being on this season is exactly that same storyline (with notoriety for him) multiplied by 2 -- we have K's storyline and now we got Nick's second chance at love story + buzz due to noteriety....this is a huge draw to have a familiar character and to be able to follow his progression.
if you think about it from that angle
1. no wonder they made sure to leak over and over deliberately that nick was on this upcoming season -- PUBLIC and promoted on social media filming and RC!
2. no wonder they want to keep it as hush hush as possible whether nick was eliminated or not (even if he's off the show I really think they'd want to keep up appearances for as long as they can that he's still on the show)
3. no wonder they're reorganizing and setting the filming schedule based on that reality of two cast offs from previous seasons both with a potential 2nd chance at love opportunity (3 weeks in one location far away from the US + any other strange filming schedule reshuffling and a "twist" in filming)

from a production standpoint I think they'll keep it as tight lipped as possible whether Nick is still on the show or not till the very end -- they might even do a no-audience, closed AFTR for this one!

I also think they want us to be so flooded with info and confuzzled that we stop believing the info that comes out -- Nick's social media is a clear indication of that strategy in action which is the most close to being confirmed (for me Nick's photo as CS' twitter profile photo was 100% proof that tptb are playing with us via nick's social media)

This info came from me.  And yes, yesterday (4/28) all of Warsaw, IN was a-buzz about the filming happening that day.

So the piece that's still confusing to me is that Mr. W and team sleuthed that FD is in Mexico this season -- I still think there likely is a twist in that regard if he was specifically saying FDs are in Mexico maybe they get an extra F3 set of dates in Mexico or an extra F2 set of dates in Mexico outside of LCDs/MTPs/FRC

with the timeline we're looking at where Ireland till E8, HTDs then the rest of the dates... How would an FD in Mexico fit in? There has to be some sort of different thing happening with the schedule

OHH I see -- so there's no solid info if Nick even got a HTD

How about marcker34's info that nick's family flew out on 27th for a 28th HTD -- could the HTD have been held on 27th instead?
