My thoughts too - at least as regards the promotion claim. If it is true then it may temper some of the fussing and provides a reasonable explanation for why his views on relocating may have changed (especially when he really understood the time/distance realities of the actual situation vs. a hypothetical  one). But if false or seriously exaggerated then he may have created a world of hurt for himself by telling Dr. C. something that is so independently verifiable.

Sean is not the director of the ER at any of the hospital locations. In an earlier post I stated that when I go back to work, I am going to go to the ED director as well as Sean and ask about this promotion. And I am going to take the approach of asking the ED director if they are leaving because I heard Sean was promoted. Yes, I am stirring the pot but the claim is bull.  If he were my boss do you think I would be stupid enough to risk my job by coming on a forum and exposing things? Absolutely not.

I can tell you that Sean has two certifications. (Certified Emergency Nurse and Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse).
