Yup, this is looking (if true) like Ready for Love with the info coming out about the conscious uncoupling of the couples.

jess c and ryan d break up for good at the 3 week mark. And do not try to make it work past that. The episode in two weeks, will be all about that. Sean and davina, do not stay together, either. He actually is the one who decides he doesnt want to stay married. She said yes, although they had many challenges. He gave up. And Jaclyn and Ryan, end up roommates with doug and jamie. TRUTH!
This sounds believable until the part about Jaclyn and Ryan.

Even though I posted the spoiler, I dont trust the source. I don't think Davina would be exchanging friendly batter on SM, if he decided to divorce her.

This is beginning to look like a major trainwreck. I know the couples are consenting adults, but they are placing their lives with total faith into the hands of the experts. I thought it was an interesting concept last season because I assumed the experts had it all under control, but now the whole thing scares the bejusus out of me. You would expect that the docs were extremely involved with the couples throughout the "experiment," but from last season's info, we learn they weren't. I'm flabbergasted.

Casting Dates
(My original post seems to have disappeared; either that or it’s waiting for mod approval, as I’m a brand new member, so I'm trying again.)JerseyNurse wrote:mindless wrote:JerseyNurse wrote:
If they check, they will see that I am not the same person. I was actually curious if Reaper was one of our co-workers... Seems to know all the same stuff. And applications for the show started right after Season 1 aired. That is what I am referring to. Not the actual interviews, etc.
Season 1 aired July to September 2014. That's 5-7 months after the supposed miscarriage in Feb 2014. I don't like Sean either, **edited**
I have no idea where this February date came from. It's incorrect. She was pregnant in late spring/early summer. I understand that doubters. Like I said, this is a random message board. You would be crazy to NOT doubt everything you read. I think people are trying to do damage control by throwing out this February date.
Casting for MAFS S2 started at least by August 25, 2014 (K Drama Stars audition call MAFS S2) and went at least until November 6, 2014 (Reality Wanted Last Chance Casting Call).
I don’t usually watch reality shows but happened upon the wedding episode so I watched that and got hooked.
Initially I liked S & D as a couple but my favorable feelings for SV quickly started to deteriorate once the kissing started at the wedding; it seemed too exhibitionist for my taste. As I saw more and more of him I too started to find him creepy and at times, inappropriate. As others have also said, it was obvious he was playing to the camera.
I feel for Davina, to have been paired with someone who SV might be in real life, as opposed to the possible front he was putting on. That must just add to the emotional trauma she’s already endured in her life. It’s irresponsible.

Well that was a fun read. Never a dull moment. There's a pathology to Sean, that the camera Is picking up, that these paper forms and interview sessions seem to have missed maybe. The guy has 1% too much enthusiasm for his on-camera "job".
Going back to the dawn of time for me and crap reality tv shows (FORT circa 2007), I have never found the following statement to steer me wrong: People sign reality TV contracts for these romance shows in particular because they want to ... be on TV. And find love, and have adventures, but it is a tiny subset of people who want romance/marriage, and who are willing to be filmed in its pursuit. Sean has all the markings of a reality TV wannabe, I have to say that shoe is fitting for me.
I read somewhere also that Ryan D. was on another reality show, on Bravo for a few weeks before having too many angry outbursts and dropping out or something. I wish that Dr. Cilona would address that.
Of course, Jamie O. found love, and tried to advance her TV personality career. So both things can happen.
Finally, I am finding Season 2 editing really choppy, with way too many repetitive In the Moment interviews to hit viewers over the head with the PLOT points and CHARACTERs ("My sister died, I take care of my niece" _- that exact clip has aired at least 6 times!) and the CONFLICTS. Enough already, just roll some tape of natural behaviors and conversations. And Sean, for his part, in those sessions seems to be such a pleaser, it "reads" very planned to me ... the objective seems to be to create a LIKABLE TV CHARACTER. SO that part of what Jersey Nurse is saying fits for me also.
