I think that all depends on how scripted you think the show is. Didn't Sean admit in the limo that he did confront them? It could be that they caught the moment on camera but the staff refused to sign a release form to appear on the show.

He was throwing up all kinds of yellow to red flags last night so I guess seeing these posts isn't that surprising now. Poor Davina, it seems she's had a rough go of things up to now and looks like it's just continuing for her.

Agreed. Let's all go back to the basics of this franchise.

There are experts who do all sorts of testing and based upon those results the couples are selected.
There are obvious nerves, and expectations, as well as "showmanship" meaning putting on a good face for the ones who know them, and may be discouraging the entire thing.
There is the "acting" portion, I say acting because if you know anything at all about TV production, ( admittedly, I know very little), there are takes and retakes and blocking.
It is a TV show. Watch the 3 couples vows over again and notice how often a scene is repeated over and over again. The dramatic pause each of them took and the actions are repeated again and again. It is all a splice and dice game. I am not saying it was all smooth sailing but there is a certain story that each couple needs to tell to fulfill the series. The producers are telling the story they want to lead the audience to believe. Just think back to the end of series 1, and the couples on the couch. If we had no outside sleuthed info, we might have guessed that Monet and Vaughn would not be the only couple splitting up.

We are being shown things for a variety of reasons, in a certain way and form an opinion based upon what we are shown. Now through social commentary, we are adding things that may or may not be true and trying to "fill in the blanks". Sometimes A +B does equal C, but other times our thoughts are colored by "facts not entered as evidence" as Dh often reminds me.

This is a TV show, first. If not, the good doctors would have been doing a documentary instead of a reality show.

I'm not going to assume anything about Sean just yet other than the DUI charge. There were a couple of red flags in the episode but will assume that all of the testing & meeting with the experts would have weeded out those with real problems. I take everything I read online with a grain of salt and for Davina's sake I hope it's just not true. I really like her.

No offense to anyone but I think everything needs to be taken with a grain of salt, this is an anonymous board and you have no way of telling if someone is really who they say they are and know the things they say they know. I really like this couple and I hope they make it

The lady 'Jennifer Lynn', who wrote the comments on Facebook about Sean visiting her restaurant, just responded to someone's comment about the show being staged/scripted. My tablet won't let me copy the whole comment, if someone could please copy it.

Exactly albean. I've been reading this thread tonight but something is ringing off to me with these allegations about Sean. So I'm reserving judgment. I'm just not so quick to jump to conclusions with this.

THIS is why I say that that interaction proves nothing. This season (and with MAFS 1 Year) the producers ramped up and invented the drama especially since moving to A&E...

I have never watched this show before in my life the advertisement came up on my newsfeed but I hope you realize most of the show is staged and that is straight from his mouth

He said 3 months after it was over they do an annulment

Even that is suspect to me, UNLESS, "The only way out of this is a divorce," is also a line for production purposes.purposes.
