Britt Nilsson - Bachelorette 11 - Discussion

Good post @metalgirl. I'll admit I was one of the "anti-Britt" posters at the time and wrongly assumed she just wanted to further her acting and modeling career. I was glad to be proven wrong and that she was honest when she said it was behind her. She's a stunning woman and could've easily pursued acting and modeling jobs when she was still relevant. I love her positivity and normalcy on her social media. I still wish we could've gotten her as the Bachelorette though since she doesn't seem to be the type who would get caught up in the fame. She's very refreshing to me.  

If she had been chosen over Kaitlyn, I'll bet Ben would have been in her finals. They had and have a lot of things in common.

But then we wouldn't have been treated to Kaitlyn's Raunchy Revival of "The Floozy in a Jacuzzi".

Ah, what could have been. I hate that we got stuck with the yucky Kaitlyn/Shawn/Nick triangle instead of getting to know the great guys that season. At least with Britt I wouldn't have felt the need to bathe after every episode. I would've loved to have seen who would've been in her F4 (I definitely think Ben would've made it in there!) and who she would've eventually picked. Damn you, TPTB.

I don't, I've been really impressed with Britt off-camera but on camera, whether it was her segments with Brady, Jimmy Kimmel appearances, other media rounds or WTA, she REALLY annoys me. She's just too "on" for my tastes. Even Juliet Litman commented many times afterwards about how much she dominated the conversation when she interviewed Kaitlyn and Britt. I've cooled down on my Kaitlyn like, but I still am happy that we got that season. I loved the Amy Schumer date and the rapping battle which we would have never gotten with Britt. And (hides under chair), I loved Nick vs. Shawn.

I'm mourning what could've been too . Last season was my least favourite in a long, long time.

Don't get me wrong, Nick and Shawn amused me (not always in a good way though   ), but it seemed like they were the ones carrying the season and I almost forgot Kaitlyn was even the lead. Almost every guy there was so disinterested in her and even Nick and Shawn many times looked more hot for each other than for her. All three of them should've just went on BiP and spared me from watching the most unromantic, sleazy B'ette season ever.

I don't know.. I am kinda glad she didn't get the gig and I really wanted her to get it. I think things worked out the way it was supposed to. I think she grew from the experience and learned a lot and got a thick skin from it. I am glad that things worked out the way it is, people got to see the real Kaitlyn, the fans choice, the one that they were uproar about and wanted. The girl that got the biggest backlash and was called all kind of names, showed her true colors after the show and showed she is actually a warm person that went there to find love and the one that the fans wanted showed that she is a vindictive, entitled and curses the very same fans that made her get the gig. Britt seems happy, has a man that seem to love her, people have warmed up to her and she is being positive at life. Kaitlyn might have got the gig, but the real winner is the girl that was called all kind of names , called fake, a fame ho but has shown she is none of those things that the fan fave is the one that is the very same thing fans were calling Britt, that fans were fooled by Kaitlyn. I am happy for her and love her outlook at life.

So many great post to quote had to just like them all.
Brit post show has been refreshing to see and I love the woman that she has become, confident in who she is, rooted in her faith and enjoying her life not being obsessive about anything related to this franchise. Very impressive imo

Britt's boyfriend posted this same photo ^ on his IG (jerjoe83) a week ago and captioned it, "Sometimes you find the one who lights up your life @brittkarolina I love you".  So cute!  And she posted (brittkarolina) a couple of adorable photos of the two of them hiking today.

Looks like Britt found the right one for her.

Her bf seems to really love her energy and vibe and that's what Britt never received from any of the other guys, imo. They liked how she looked or her beliefs, etc, but I didn't think any of them meshed with her vibe well however Britt's bf seems to love that about her which is great to see!
