Honestly, IDK, but it is what I suspect.
She was safe choice to be scripted F2. No way was she going to lose her virginity in the FS. They try to find someone to script to do a certain role. She did it. She had her own following.
She liked Chris. They enjoyed each other, but I never saw anything more than each playing a role with the other.  She was happy when it was all over. No tears in the limo--I can't recall that of a F2. I didn't see any tears. She was ok.
No evilness during their !:1 during ATFR recap. Quite unusual. Everyone is happy.

Whitney looks SO nervous, and Chris way too relaxed

Okay this is more like it - he is all over her with affection and praise and she is nervous nervous and happy (gosh she loves the short short skirts - not sure about that dress). And for all those who say she talks too much, when it's not an edit, she actually talks less than C and C.

Sadly, Chris just doesn't seem so over joyed to me still. She is leading and he is still following. She likes that so it works, but to me his family loves her and he is still learning to love her.

The longing was still there in his body language with Becca, leaning in to her wanting her to reciprocate.

With Whitney he just sits back and isn't really trying.

I think they can last, but it will be because Whitney will push him to get to where she is.

I don't see a man who is over the moon about that woman.

Compare to Chris Sigfried. I just don't see him being in love the way the original Prince Chris was.

That's one of my concern about their relationship. With Becca, he had so much to say.
