Based on the US Weekly article (it's not in my store yet?!), it definitely sounds like Whitney is F1. I too cannot believe Whitney would do a 180 so quickly. Becca wanted to take it slow all along. On the date in Iowa, in the loft, she admitted she would not be ready to accept a proposal. That was October 27, I think. Then HTD, very fun day, very romantic day, on her birthday, October 30. Still can't see her ready to accept a proposal. Then it's maybe 2 weeks before they see each other again for FD. She even said she wasn't sure, since it had been awhile, that they would have the same attraction towards one another, but they did. I do think their 3 dates before were fun dates, a lot of laughing, talking, kissing - no drama. Yet in Bali, Chris starts to put pressure on Becca. You can see the change in their relationship. Once they come out FS, their relationship becomes stressed, on both sides. (CH says that Chris was throwing temper tantrums in Iowa the last week.) You can see a little of that when he talks to Becca at the RC, he seems almost impatient (angry?) with her as he tries to explain that he is falling in love with her - he says "I told you multiple times" with that look on his face. I don't imagine that would go over so well with Becca. Just as they were starting to fall in love and enjoy one another's company, here comes all this pressure to make a decision injected into it. And Chris apologized to her for pressuring her that morning in the FS, so there's no telling how hard he grilled her off camera. But even when Becca said at the beginning of the RC that she wasn't going to get a chance to explain herself, she didn't seem that upset, almost like she would be okay to go home. Here's the thing: Chris is in love with Becca! He wants her! But that doesn't mean that in the end Becca feels the same way. I see some time in Iowa, with him yelling at her and his mom being stern with her, and I don't feel like Becca is the type of woman who withstand that amount of pressure to make a rushed decision about something so serious as marriage. She takes marriage a lot more seriously than any contestant or lead I have ever seen on this show. If they had not pressured her so much, and if Chris had been willing to calmly consider a final rose without a proposal, I think Becca may have been F1. But I can see Becca not being ready at the end. She wouldn't have been ready at the end of October, and I don't think after 2 more dates, she was that much closer to saying yes to a proposal. Whereas Whitney was ready for a proposal on HTD!

Right, sadly! Also just watched the clip in the WTA thread of Kaitlyn confronting Chris...and he says he could have flipped a coin on that day between her and Becca...then quickly adds Whitney (almost as an afterthought?!)

Chris says in the lines getting back to normal. Now why would Chris do DWTS if he is  with Whitney it really doesn't make any since. Wouldn't you think he would want to get back to Iowa to be closer to Whitney?  I think he is doing it DWTS to be close Becca. But that's just my thoughts.

Because, Chris S. is a puppet and if the show wants him to do DWTS and get some money (for charity or whatever) he'll do it.

I kind of agree with the last two posts and if that's the case then Becca comes out of this looking like gold. Chris not so much (he should have let her go after FS date then IMO)I am still not convinced the coin toss was between B and K But that's irrelevant really. I think W is a beautiful person and will be a wonderful Mom but it makes me just a little sad for her if she is F1 after he essentially says he would have picked Becca if she was ready to get married tomorrow.

For Chris to say it was like flipping a coin sounds bad, but at the same time, it's history, he sent Kaitlyn home. It sounds better to say she almost equal to the 2 others than to tell her, she was 3rd on his feeling barometer. Chris is really in the HOT seat! Awkward!

Here's an explanation that goes against my belief that Becca is F1, but I'll say it anyway.

What if the story that the tabloid is leaking is correct? Someone walks away because her emotions couldn't get there. That more than likely would be Becca. What would be the advantage to TPTB to have this story leaked? How about this? If they are interested in having Becca be the next 'Ette, then they need the audience to believe Becca's emotions are free to move on. They need to get this story out there as soon as possible so people believe she is ready...her heart is healed from the experience because she never fell. If TPTB are behind planting the story to USWeekly, it's because they have already moved on to prepare for the next season. They don't care now about the ending. They've created enough doubt and interest in the finale...so move on.

Her story this season of her beginning to fall in love has awakened Becca to want to be in a relationship, married, etc. She now knows what to look for in herself and in the guy she wants. She's ready for this next journey.

These past few days of spending time with family is time to say goodbye for the next few months (as some have already suggested). Now she is closing down her SM...slowly.

Now that would certainly be an #unexpectedtwist for me...but one that I would fully embrace. Well, maybe...love Becca, but I hate what this show does to people.

Yes, I think so too on the bolded that's why if he chose someone else other than B it's just not romantic in my eyes. If that's the case, C should not propose to anyone. I hope that he doesn't/didn't. :Nod:

Becca already said she is for K being the ette. I don't see B going from falling in love with Chris to wanting to meet 25 new guys And getting engaged to one of them at the end. That just doesn't make sense to me. Doesn't fit her story.

The photo is old - it was taken on her friend0s birthday few weeks ago. Becca could still be with her family.
