Re: Bachelor 19 - Whitney Bischoff #2
I'm bringing this over from the Becca thread:
I see this quote of Chris completely differently. I think it supports Whitney as F1. I think the first and second part of the quote about some of the women not being willing to move actually refers to Britt, Ashley I and some of the other girls that left before F4. I think Whitney addressed Chris's concern about Arlington in a very straight forward and credible fashion.
"There is a workable scenario where I can basically live in two places." I think totally supports Whitney. Becca doesn't have the investment in her career that would make living in two places a necessary compromise unless she really has an issue with living in a small town. And where would the second place be if F1 is Becca? With Whitney, it makes sense to have a second home in Chicago while having homebase be in Arlington. Chris's sisters live in Chicago, it's a four hour drive away so not a major trip. TO me, this just makes more sense.
Hopefully wrote:("I mean, maybe they said they'd be willing to, but probably, in their heart of hearts, wouldn't have been happy even though, maybe, they said they were willing to." ) to me he is talking about Whitney here. And here as well. (And sorting through that throughout the journey was challenging. And I definitely feel like there were some women who probably weren't really, truly, willing," Soules explained. )
Here I think he is talking about Becca.( Bachelor star Chris Soules has hinted he might be ready to live in two different states to make things work with his final bachelorette standing.
"There is a workable scenario where I can basically live in two places." )

Aunties_Love wrote:You mean like Whitney is sounding this season...so sure of herself, almost right from the first night. To me, she has been pushing herself onto Chris, always going in for the kiss, etc, so much so that it seems fake. Now with Des's season, she too instigated a lot of their contact. I don't see Chris doing that this season with Whitney but do see it with Becca so it will be interesting for sure. There just doesn't seem to be much post season to support Whitney as F1 right now.chasingpavements wrote:Aunties_Love wrote:
In Des's season, I don't think that they edited Chris any way at all cause he was the only one to meet Des's parents. Kind of hard to edit him one way and someone else another when he's the only one that met her family.
Just in general, Chris got a very over-confident edit, saying things like 'I would be shocked if anything got in the way of the relationship we have built", "I am confident that Des will be my wife". In the past, any contestant who said something like that was about to get dumped.
Yeah, but Chris won! So, obviously over-confident = can maybe be F1 now. It's no longer a clear indication of anything.
I also saw Chris soules instigating contact (pulled Whitney into kiss at wedding date), but even if he wasn't, not all couples have the same dynamic. That doesn't make them better or worse.

This was posted in the SC thread thought I'd bring it here.

I have heard from a source close to the family that both MTP dates went very well and Chris' family really like both women they met. TPTB have shown you that Becca's MTP date doesn't go well, but it's more editing to make you think that.
Also, right before the season began and it was spoiled that Whitney was F1, my source told me "the family doesn't know who he picked, but I'm sure you've read the reports on the internet...the family would be very happy with that choice. Chris seems very happy with the outcome of the experience."

Makes more sense if Whitney is F1 with that quote compared to Becca IMO

To me, that Becca chose to stay in San Diego when her sis and bil left tells me she enjoys San Diego\California\coastal state with ocean and a warm climate.
To have two homes, Chicago and Iowa, four hour drive away seems quite workable to me. Two homes, San Diego\California and Iowa is a completely different story. The latter doesn't sound like a compromise to me; the shuttling back and forth sounds like a nightmare.

Jason and Molly were in a long distance relationship from Milwaukee to Seattle for around 8 months before she moved. Anything is possible.
Who ever the F1 is, I don't want them to pack up and move to Arlington asap like there's no tomorrow. I'd rather see a commute involved for a while until they are sure.
