I wanted them both. Whitney clearly has no such problems. I just want to see how this works out. I'm pretty positive that he will chose Whitney...it's the long term that I want to know about. I can really see these two together...not something that happens all that often.

Still on train Chrisney all the way. Whitney is a beautiful woman inside and out plus has a totally smokin hot body. She is going to be gorgeous bride and with her tall lean shape will look amazing pregnant. I bet that she is one of those fortunate types who never have to worry about their weight. Lucky!! Good question -  does Whitney want to be his wife, is she feeling secure and is she on board for him to do DWTS?  Watching last night's show would give me pause if I heard Chris telling all the F3 he was falling in love with them.  He may have told Whitney that from the git-go which is why she was so confident most the time.

I wonder what kind of push Chris got to say he was "falling" in love with all three? There is always an out with "falling" and not "in love". Clearly all the girls got the memo about the "leg wrap".   He has said he is "in love" with only one of them and only told one girl that.

Knowing all the inside scoop and manipulation we have heard about over the years, I have no problem thinking he was instructed to say this. Thought??

YES!. I felt like their chemistry was off the charts, and thought that there was no way she couldn't choose him. Even at the ATFR, it felt like there was something there. It's been a while since I was that invested in a Bachelor/ette couple. And, the worst part was that I got my hopes up that he would be the lead and, of course, he wasn't. All three of my favorite guys (Reid, Roberto, Arie) have "almost" been the leads, and every time, that hope gets yanked away from me.

Definitely. I take little to no thought about what they say on the show. They are given cue cards to read. I don't know how often this is, but they certainly aren't given cue cards to read their own thoughts! (can you only imagine any of us carrying around cue cards all day in normal convo?) They are given the cards to read to follow a certain storyline.

Totally agree with this line of thinking. It may be unusual for US to hear the lead say he is falling in love with anyone - let alone say that to more than one - but the key element IMHO is that Chris said that to more than one. That's no accident or slip of the tongue - he was told to say that or it was suggested to him that he say that by the producers as part of the way they sought to develop a story line this season.

I happen to think that Chris chose Whitney and also that he made his choice quite early in the process or at least was strongly leaning that way. Whitney touched something inside Chris on their first date and I don't think Chris can forget that. The rest is just typical "happens every season" doubt cast by the producers and the edit.

Interesting Chris told Becca and Kaitlyn that he was falling in love with them but not Whitney. Maybe wanting to save the I love you just for her. :whistle:

Yes, she is attractive, but men are usually drawn to a bit of mystery and she's been an open book the entire time. One that flips its own pages even. If she doesn't get chosen, I really hope she learns to take a step back and let the men she dates find something out for themselves every now and then. I know this is an unusual dating situation, but a man still operates like a man. I don't recommend playing games, just taking a chill pill.

I don't know any men who want women who play games or hold back their needs, wants or desires.  Men are very basic animals.  They may like mysteries in their movies but not in their relationships.  Like my husband told me when we were dating, If you want/need something just tell me because I'm not a mind reader.

I believe Sean said he was falling in love with all his F3 too. That to me means nothing at all. It is a totally normal TPTB line. Now if any lead says an actual I love (looking at you Dr. Andy), then that is a problem to me.

He could easily still chose Whitney and honestly, while the Becca edit is uncomfortable to see maybe, in real life it isn't anything they can't overcome if they want to.

Chris didn't care that Des said she only loved Brooks. Little Sarah had to wait for an extra dating period for Charlie to pick her.

In the long run, if the couple is supposed to be together they make it work and leave the tv edit behind.

Either way, just like with Becca, Whitney looks happy now, so however this turned out, she is good.

I adored Nick and while he seemed to want Andi all summer he moved on very easily. IF, and this is only IF, Whitney is not F1, she seems to have moved on just fine too.
