Nothing that happened since Nov 22nd means anything. There are no arguments to be made when the outcome has already been determined. If he was still deciding between the two, then sure. But he decided 3 months ago so anything on social media since then means nothing. Producers purposely tell contestants to say/do things on Twitter every season.

That was such a cute moment but my favorite moment of them is when he showed her the wall. HE LOOKED SO HAPPY and she was overwhelmed. I got emotional.

She almost got a twirl LOL

I rewatched their first date today and I am glad I did as it refreshed my memory with how special their connection was early on.  It has since been clouded by some of the other girl drama and his attractions to so many women.  But sticking to his core requirements/desires of what he wants in a wife, Whitney fits his ideal.  The rest is up to their chemistry and timing.

He wants someone who makes him better and makes him want to be better through good and bad

I still think it will be Whitney. And I think she's the right choice for him at this stage.   But they've hooked me with the Becca Chris story the last few eps and I have no doubt he has strong and growing feelings for her, too.  I think he'll  truly wrestle with his decision at the end.  

I don't think it was first date with Whitney and done for Chris.  But I think he did start to fall hard that night and was excited to find a real viable potential for himself.   I loved Chris reaction at the end of Whitney's date, no denying he was a giddy little boy with a major crush giving her the rose.  No doubt he has an energy and glow about him with Whitney.  But also I do see Chris reacting with tenderness, patience and passion towards the slower moving Becca. I can't help but think about how long ago that giddy reaction was, and that sometimes a slow moving, genuine connection comes along to beat out that initial perfect first date.

What does in love Chris look like - the giddly grinning giggly guy or the manly, protective wooing Chris? Probably a bit of both, that's why I think I totally buy both relationships.  So I could easily believe either as F1, and would find either ending quite a romantic, emotional one and would be a fan of either couple.  Can he pick both? J/K

I thought he looked really drunk.

JMO but in the preview where Chris asks Whitney about her career and moving to Iowa, I see a man who is in love but worried "is it too good to be true?" that this vivacious, attractive and accomplished woman would move to Iowa for me- a doubt born of his own insecurity about a woman wanting the farm life and not a doubt Whitney has done any thing to create. He is looking for reassurance.

I am counting on our girl Whitney to know exactly what to say and how to say it to allay his fears and seal the deal.

He told the women "be honest with me and I'll be honest with you." What does our girl do? Pretend it's been a life long dream to move to Arlington because they have awesome sunsets or some other such mularkey? No. She says to be honest (paraphrasing) no I didn't look on a map and say the town of under 500 is where I want to be.....

what follows next will IMO be critical and I have faith in Whitney's ability to be both honest and give him the reassurance he needs.

Not me! Yeah I admit , I get confused when I go to Becca's thread and posters in this board are so good at sleuthing that it confuses me at times.

I haven't given up at Whitney being F1. I really really like her and I love that she is a go getter.
