I think that Becca is really using her head to weigh it all out, whereas I think that Whitney is deep within the Bach Bubble and would have married Chris after the first date.

BTW this may just be my observation, but I have seen Whitney several times during the season with a nasty face on.  I think she is capable of sarcasm and when she is upset she makes no bones about it.  I wouldn't want to get in her way when she is angry.

We have to remember it's what they choose to show us. I am sure there was smirking and eye rolling from every girl at some point, even Becca.

Yes, I agree!  

ETA: that has been my concern with Whitney since the beginning, has she really given herself time to truly get to know Chris as an individual, not the perfect version of him she already had built up in her mind from watching him last season.

Ot, Rolly how was your trip to Ca? Did you spot anyone ?

Both Becca and Whitney have a lot of very solemn faces.  Becca has a bit of a frown face like Andi. Becca looks troubled to me a lot.   Whitney sometimes has a face that says to me, "I can not believe that I am standing in line with all these girls", steely determination in her eyes, like lets just get this over with.  I think Whitney is at the point after the last Rose Ceremony that she wants this to be over.  I really think she does care, maybe have love for Chris.  But I think she is really ready for this to be over either way.  For Becca, she has her ideas of how she should fall in love and this is not how she thought it would be or wants it to be.  I think that is a huge obstacle for Becca that she really did not count on coming into the show.  Whitney I think mostly knew what she was getting into, but it is wearing on her.

All I can say is, I really, really dislike the edit during this time of every season. They are picking an choosing what to show to create as much conflict and doubt as possible. I guess that's their job and boy do they do it well...

I didn't find Chris but not for a lack of trying. Kept seeing pics of him with fans all around LA and wished I had been there to see him too. Had a great time. Always nice to go someplace warm in the middle of a Minnesota winter.

I actually got the feeling that Chris already told her shes F1 in the FS and she's just ready for this to be over so she can be with Chris. She has always looked very confident (with good reason) but especially so at the last RC.

This post will be long.  Very sorry about that but am trying to include my thoughts into one post.  I would still love to hear all your thoughts.

I agree, and not to mention the smile that Whitney gave when Chris took Becca away for a chat.  Almost like she was hoping Becca would be sent home.
Then the comments about being immature.

Age has nothing to do with experience and it wasn't said in a nice way.  That is my opinion.  I don't expect any of you who are in love

I agree stuck.  I was 19 when my hubby and I met.  I had "relationships" but never knew what love meant till I met my hubby.  It`s true from growing up in such a small community, I never really had life experiences.  I was naive and skittish, but I had a reason to be.  I was leary in the first bit to jump all in, but something told me in my gutt that this was the right thing to do.  By the end of the third month that we were together, we were married and moved cross country to where he grew up which was a huge city.

In the long run.......age has nothing to do with anything.  What`s in the heart, mind and soul does.  To me, even though Whitney is older than Becca is in age, her maturity level isn't though, IMO.

All Becca is doing is staying outside of the bubble instead of climbing inside with both feet.  I see Whit as doing that.  She was all in on night one, knew all about Chris and ready for more.  Ready, in love and willing to have his kids.  Becca on the other hand seemed to want to explore things, make sure of her footing.  Once she was sure, then she was ready for more.  I think we will see her jump all in now but not because she took the leap into the bach bubble and drank the tea, but because she actually is feeling it completely now and knows exactly what she wants.

IMO, the producers wouldn't be spending so much time on the Becca/Chris storyline if she's the one leaving.  To me, this screams F1.

I think Chris kept Becca because he knows she'll bounce back from the rejection of being #2 better than Kaitlyn.

Personally, I think differently.  I see Chris as WANTING Becca just a little more than Kaitlyn.  He knows that Becca hasn't been in love before, is a virgin; but inward, his heart is really falling for her.

I agree with your thoughts.  I know in the past we haven't done that much, but I do see this as being Chris's choice.  Just like it was to send Kaitlyn home as he was feeling it more for Becca and Whit than Kaitlyn.  Now, with regards to who he is feeling more for, IMO, that is Becca.  If his heart didn't want her as much, he would of let her go knowing her history.  He wouldn't of tagged her along unless he was seriously considering her as the one he wanted.

With regards to Whit, tonight for the first time, I saw her in a "clearer" sight so to speak.  I see Whit as the over confident F2 edit and have since epi 4.  I know night one she was super confident in her feelings for him and how much she knew him but to me, to be that all in right a way....where is there to go from there?  The relationship can't progress and neither can the editing.  BTW, I feel it's weird that the guy has to catch up to the woman....with Whit, that's how this is being portrayed for sure, and again, where can the edit go if one of the party is already at the goal line?(Much like I was told during last season with April/Tim on Bach Canada)

Chris is not ready to get married. He wants a girlfriend at this point.

Whitney needs stay in Chicago and make Chris come to her -- he wants his cake and to eat it to. Selfish.

I am trying to figure out what's selfish about it.  Chris has made it clear from the start that he's staying in Arlington.  He told all the women that so how would it be considered selfish now?  To me, Whit said that she knew right from the start that either she'd have to move to Arlignton or things won't work out....she's stated that she's ready for it.  To me, there seems to of been no real roadblocks in their relationship.  Nothing to overcome, therefore, where is this going?  Nowhere, IMO.

I like Kaitlyn a lot and hope she's the next ette, but don't feel humiliated for anything that went on in the FS, I don't want to hear about it.

I'd say that it is a parallel between the experienced (Whit) and the inexperienced(Becca).  The older, experienced monkey left.  Chris was still with the inexperienced one when the show ended.

On a different matter.....I hope that Kaitlyn is the next 'bette.  There was an overwhelming twitter response for it anyways.  I think she'd be great!

The previews for the finale often favor the f2 in some way. The family sometimes even seems to like them more. If Becca is really the f1 I feel they'd have shown something good for Whitney.

In a round abouts way, maybe they did by showing so much conflict for Becca.  They seemed to emphasize the conflict within the family, etc with Becca possibly being chosen than anything possitive.  IMO, it's still following the editing that Whit is F2.  Doesn't the F1 usually get conflict when it comes to the MTP?

The other thing that I noticed though and it struck a cord with me.  When Chris's dad mentioned of how he thought Chris wanted Becca...shades of Catherine's MTP with Sean's family.

ITA. And like Becca has said on her SM...its all worth it. You must werk, and the quote aboute patience makes sense too.

Whitney didnt even give a realistic response about looking for hospital near Iowa! Just that she would drop her career and move....goodness me! She really is something

Worth it/worth the wait/werking on it...........all of that has been the mantra for Chris/Becca's season.  To me it means that they are workign on something versus backpeddling out of it.  Got a feeling that the whole season will be worth the wait when Chris and Becca are the final couple.  Again though, their lives, not mine.

I totally agree with you. For once we have someone who is level headed and is trying to sort the reality of it all. For someone that has no life experiences, I find her very mature and level headed. IMO Chris has falling for Becca. Whatever went on in the FS it appears they were unanswered questions. Becca isn't going to drop everything for him because she wants to be sure, and he expects her to pick up and move to Arlington. She's knocking some sense into him IMO

BTW I really don't care who his F1 is, for me it's all about the sleuthing.

I agree with both of you, chasing and GA.  To me, Whit is one of the F2's that just are all in from night one.  I seriously doubt whether they really understand what they are wanting.  IMO, I agree and feel that there seems to be a lot made of nothing with regards to Becca's virginity.  To me, there shouldn't of been this much made of it, but it is a question(whether real or made up for the story of it all) in Chris's mind.  Obviously that is something that won't get resolved till the end(such is a typical edit for F1).  To me, I just don't see Whit as F1.  I am loving the social media clues with regards to Becca ad how she may very well be F1.

I guess this answers the question of why Chris always had one hand on the boat and not both on Whitney! (per CH)

A little inside info about the boat trip Whitney and Chris took: It was windy and the seas were rough that day, my friends. They were supposed to cruise around to a beach and enjoy a nice day, but they never made it to the final destination. As you saw at one point Chris and Whitney jumped in the water off the front of the boat. The current was so strong they were at the back of the boat pretty much as soon as they hit the water. They even struggled to get out of the water as the ladder on the back kept rising out of the water in the big waves. It wasn't exactly the most romantic boat trip as some of our crew were getting sick in the rough seas.

I guess that solves how he didn't hold onto her with both hands on the boat nor tried to instigate anything, but what happened after they got onto dry land.  Why was he not holding onto her much or instigating the kissing, the closeness between them, pulling her in for kisses once they got onto the dry land?

With Becca, he's always pulling her in, hand on her inner thigh, holding her with both arms, instigating the contact.

Ooo please don't leave out Kaitlyns comments as well...
