I just can't get aboard the Becca love train- probably a minority of one here- but there is something very off about her. Her family outs her as frigid- argue editing all you want, as Kiptyn said, they can't broadcast it if you don't say it, and the family clearly said she is not an intimate person, and were shocked that she would *gasp* hold hands with a man. Becca herself said she does not like PDA even around her family. So she goes on a show for PDA to be on national television? I just don't get it. Did she go on the show as a form of therapy to overcome her dislike for intimacy and PDA? Is the whole I am a virgin and I don't kiss on the first date an act? Is it realistic that after about 10 to 15 hours with CS her distaste for intimacy and PDA was magically cured? IDK.

If Becca is F1, IMO the puppy love will fizzle out in time.

So I'm not seeing a wedding coming out of this season.

Lots of pages left to read but this post really struck me. I know lots of posters are aghast that Whitney would leave her career to be a wife and mother. What a heretic. There is absolutely nothing wrong with choosing to stay at home and take care of a family. Do I wish she would wait to quit until she was sure it would work out and she would get her "happily ever after"? Sure. But if what she feels would complete her and give her peace and happiness is a family to take care of, I don't think that is a bad thing. More power to her if she knows what she wants. The fact that he wants someone like that seems to make them a good fit for a start of a relationship.

I quoted your post KB because of what you said about Becca. I couldn't have said it better myself. Especially the bolded. Something just strikes me as wrong with that whole thing. I don't think she is a bad person, or that waiting for marriage is wrong. I think it is the complete lack of intimacy she seem to have had in her life that strikes me as very odd. I would be surprised if she is F1. I still think it will be Whitney.

I want to clarify, I don't think Whitney leaving her career to be a wife/mother would be as concerning in a real world relationship - plenty of people do it, I'm home with my littles for the next few years. But in the bubble, after knowing him for only so many weeks, I hope she puts the brakes on that train of thought until they've spent some time off the show and away from cameras.

That's the thing. The guy lives out in the middle of nowhere. It's been 90 days roughly since the FRC. Who is to say they have not spent a lot of time out in the middle of nowhere--Chris' homestead? (this is for either lady) No one has really tracked all weekends or middle of the weeks. Someone could come and go and not be detected. If this is the situation, it could be they have spent some time with each other.

I agree Kasha. Whitney could be driving in and out during her off time. It wouldn't be too hard to hide out on that big farm.

Becca would have to fly in. Have there been any airport sightings of Becca?

Whomever the F1 is, I hope she will have the same attitude that Molly had after she took Jason back. She didn't give up everything to move to Seattle right away. They visited each other in their respective hometowns for at least several months while they worked things out in the real life. I, for one, have much more respect for the couples from this show who understand that Bachelor World is not the real world; who wait for all the post-show obligations and hoopla to die down; who basically wait for the bloom to be off the rose (pun intended) to take a long hard look at what they have together. If things don't work out for them after all that, good for them for realizing it AFTER they put the effort in.

I agree with this, Kasha. First of all, I know The Bachelor is more popular than Sweet Home Alabama, but the first night I went to a viewing party with Paige, she left the party and went directly to Jeremiah's house. I found out later that they had spent a lot of time together while the show was airing. All they have to do is bring in the F1 late at night and keep her in the house during the day. With Chris coming and going to run the farm, it looks like business as usual. And it's a good opportunity for the "chosen one" to find out what her life would be like. This is a very similar situation to Jeremiah and Paige on the farm in the middle of rural Minnesota. I sure hope it doesn't end the same...

Can they (Whit mainly) really be fully out of the bubble while still in hiding though? Especially with Chris doing DWTS and more TV stuff in their future. I'm skeptical. I give her a few months after the finale.

I totally agree with this but hasn't our prince farming been in LA a lot and on "tour?" LOL They (either Becca or Whit) are still in the honeymoon phase and the real test will be when cameras go away completely. Like no more DWTS. He is still doing a show. I am sure Sean and Cat and Des and Chris too will agree that the sooner "normal" life takes over the better. ;)

Let me say, I don't watch DWTS. I tried one season and wanted to poke my eyes out. So I can't fathom why anyone would want to do this grueling show. Endless grueling practice.

Yes, I agree!

ETA: that has been my concern with Whitney since the beginning, has she really given herself time to truly get to know Chris as an individual, not the perfect version of him she already had built up in her mind from watching him last season.

Me three! I was so excited for their 1:1 date in episode three. I was going to get to fall in love with the couple. Instead I was just annoyed that it was all about Whitney proving how perfect she was for Chris. How about actually getting to know the man, just a little bit. He was the least shown lead ever from the season before, how do you already know that he is worth you? And it just got worse and worse. By the end of the date, I was cringing. I think I like my quiet too much. Life with Whitney would be lived with earplugs for me.

Haha, same here! It kind of reminds me of Vaughn from Married at First Sight saying he wants someone bubbly and then being driven up the wall by Monet's constant chatter. I'm not convinced Chris can handle bubbly any better, since he seems like an introvert and said himself that he likes to be at home by himself a lot. I can just picture Whitney constantly trying to drag him out of the house to do whatever she's set her mind in and it ain't pretty.
