Just think about all the photos they will have to show their children. What a life experience. How could two people go thru so much hell, and have it all come out. Kind of like being a navy seal mentally and coming out with their heads above water.

But his is not the only season that ends [in a] photo finish and it continues to perplex me every time.

Also, I have been told that they get coached on how to respond post show, so I'm not putting too much stock in a comment they were coached to say. I'm not saying he is not sincere with his answers, but there is a specific reason for them and they fit in with the edit. Just some things to ponder on a Sunday!

Personally, I think that US and CH are both prevaricators The part they left out was Chris saying he could have flipped a coin to see who won. They both knew, ch and cs  that Becca was not a candidate for the Bachelorette. Kaytlin was the only good candidate which meant she had to go as F3 so they could be prepared for her season up coming.

The US article didn't really leave that out (I just didn't post it because it wasn't particularly central to the article). What it actually said was:

- Soules admits that figuring out who stays and who goes was like "throwing darts at a dartboard in the dark".

So we have a storyline - that Chris was in love with both of his final two and it was very difficult for him to make a decision. His ultimate decision was to choose the woman he was most certain was into him. I believe this is pretty much how we will see the finale play out and the US article will be a pretty accurate recount of the final show edit.

Was this reality? Or reality TV? We all can ponder that ...

There is Chris tweeting in response to Fleiss "decisions, decisions oh how hard it is deciding the bachelorette" now you know how I felt.

Who knows how any of them really feel. Rather no engagement if that is the case

It is close to reality tv, but scripted. Since the public seemed to not like Britt as the bachelorette, they decided it had to be Kaytln. They never take an F2 for that as filming starts on the ette right after they finish with the bach. There is not time for the ette to get all the fittings done, nor all the prep filming completed in a couple days. Thus, someone who is definately not the ultimate winner, will be let go as either F4 or F3 for the time element. Except for the ultimate winner, the rest become pawns so the drama of the show can continue to the end.

^There's a much longer gap between the Bachelorette ending and the Bachelor beginning filming. For Bacheler to Bachelorette it's mere days. Doesn't really make it believable for a F2 to go directly from heartbroken/dumped to the lead.

The bachelor season starts in the fall, while the bachelorette is crowded into the time right after the bachelor More time to select the male lead as I understand.

I understand, but the bachelor stop filming in November (?). Still not enough time if someone was not fully invested with the lead? Seems they get over fairly fast at times
