Actually that wouldn't surprise me at all. Jewish mothers are always pushing more food on their guests, and sending them home with "care packages" is par for the course! Plus JP says his mom's lasagne is to die for. :Nod:

to be honest I saw ashley sighing because she eat too much ... not because she wanted more lasagna! LOLL

lets not forget that she said that this time around she made an effort to eat vegetables and fruits

Maybe so, but that doesn't mean that later that night, at her hotel, she wouldn't have been up for a second helping of it! I just know that I never leave my (Jewish) relatives' houses without taking home some leftovers. It's what we do.

HAHA! It looked so good. I like that RS gave it a shoutout in his blog. She should start shipping it out to our homes. Maybe that was JP's motives for going on the show!

This all started because I kept fussing over and over and over and over that STUPID starfish-crab lamp in his Hong Kong episode PI. Since JP looked sunburned, I thought it was a Fiji resort and was combing through all of the websites... like a South Seas Beachcomber. Then it cropped up in the hometown date and his mother just HAD to tell ME... LOL!... that her son looked sunburn. It was as if she was reading these threads!!!! She didn't want us all to stress ourselves over it!

She absolutely is. I think that would be the hardest part of the show. During the show you at least get to spend time with your man, but not being able to spend a lot of time with you man afterwards would be the worst.
