Ashley Hebert starts her run as The Bachelorette tonight (9-11pm EST on ABC), and we’re excited for a season of dramatic rose ceremonies, exotic locales (Thailand! Hong Kong!), and of course, the fashion. We caught up with the show’s stylist Cary Fetman to get the inside scoop on Ashley’s favorite looks this season. “Ashley is glitzy and bubbly, but sophisticated,” Fetman said. “She was like my own little Barbie doll.” Before the show started filming, Fetman pulled looks for Ashley and packed them as individual outfits. “At the beginning, she wore exactly what I chose, but by the middle of the show, she put together her own looks,” he said. “It was interesting to see what she would do. SHOES: One of the perks of being The Bachelorette? Getting to keep (almost all) of the clothing, including shoes from Badgley Mischka, Jessica Simpson, Guess and Roberto Cavalli. “Ashley is going to have to build a closet just for her new shoes,” Fetman said. “She loves heels. She can wear a 5-inch spike and look like she is dancing in a sneaker!”

GOWNS: “For all the dresses, we went for fantasy looks,” Fetman said. “They’re the kinds only a princess could buy.” On the first night, Ashley wears a $26,910 Swarovski crystal covered gown from Randi Rahm (shown left), and her finale gown is by the same designer. “As soon as she tried it on, I said we were saving it for the finale,” Fetman said. “It’s blush pink with feathers on the bottom—it’s breathtaking.”

DENIM: Fetman dressed Ashley in Seven For All Mankind and Citizens of Humanity jeans, but her favorite were a pair from Abercrombie and Fitch. “She tried on about 100 pairs, but the Abercrombie short shorts were the best,” he said. “We showed as much leg as we could!”

ACCESSORIES: “I have a heavy hand with accessories, but with Ashley, less was more,” Fetman said. “She looked best in delicate, smaller pieces from lines like Jennifer Fisher and KV BIJOU.”

Bachelorette Fashion: Ashley Hebert Pink Skirt and Strappy shoes on Regis and Kelly

We're t-minus :40 to the season premiere of the Bachelorette: On the fumes of poutine and I'm putting all my side-of-the-road-organic eggs in Ashley Hebert's basket.

Today we got a taste of what's to come from Ashley's season during her appearance on Regis and Kelly. And if my sources are correct, we're in for a season of short hemlines, bright colors, and the occasional poorly executed accessory. (Sorry, I hated the belt.)

Still, the skirt and shoes are both adorable and available.

Whether the same can be said for Ashley Hebert remains to be seen.
