What is the story of Ash's sister? Do we know anything about her? She sounds jealous to me.

That clip is so bizarre. It's as thought her sister was prejudging JP. What I don't get is why she thought that Brad was such a perfect match for her sister. Brad is older than JP, I believe. So this business of him being older is just bull. It all comes across as kind of phony. Why would you have such an intense dislike when you first meet someone? Even Ashley's mother didn't feel that way.

However, it conveniently sets it up for TPTB to make it appear that she may not pick anyone. It provides some drama and suspense, when the truth is that the outcome was there for all to see.

I just saw a preview on ABC for the MTA and FRC. This is the first time they showed both Ben and JP down on one knee saying to Ashley -will you marry me. Then there is the dramatic voiceover saying who will she pick or will she pick no one. Then you see that clip of Ashley crying and saying how this day was ruined. So it makes me think that they wanted both guys to propose.

That was really so sad! Talk about a rough time for both of them! But if that's what it took for both of them to finally realize the true depth and extent of their love for each other, I'm sure they don't regret it. :lovecoffee:

Ashley just confirmed my feeling that the way she felt about JP was so much deeper and intense than what she felt for Ben, and "it is not even close". I would be upset too if my sister tells it to my face that that guy I love is not good for me after 1-2 hours of meeting him.
