While I was pleasantly surprised by JPG, I think he is better off without Nikki and while Andi and Josh seem to be a good match, I simply don't really care for them all that much. Maybe if they showed us more fun between them and less of Andi playing prosecutor, but nope, they didn't help me fall in love with them at all. Instead, they focused on tricky Nick, who I did love. I am not sure that I even care who Chris chooses and since they pretty much forgot to show him last season, I have no interest in him build in already.

Hey maybe 2015 will be the year I get my PhD and freedom from my one reality tv addiction all in one year!

BTW, as a huge college football fan, it turns out Jesse Palmer is actually articulate and charming. TPTB where the heck was this guy when he stared on your show?

^He was around 25 and a wannabe hot-shot NFL player. Too young and immature.

I feel like the show has always shown the overly drunk behavior and such, even back on the older seasons.

And well many may not agree or enjoy it, drama, debauchery, cattiness, etc. do make people watch. Why do you think the housewives franchise, things like the real world, and similar shows are still popular and on the air.

Jesse Palmer wasn't even good enough to start at UF. Not really sure how he even got into the NFL. I actually enjoy him on ESPN.

The shows you have brought up are all shows that I also no longer watch. I hate the bad behavior. The last RW I tried to watch was Austin, but watching those idiots make my favorite city look bad was the kiss of death and I was done. The housewives are all pretty much horrible people in my opinion.

Maybe I am just not a reality tv person. It will give me more time to read books and such, no problem. We will see if I manage to care about Chris or any of his girls.

Yeah, I don't watch any of those real housewife shows, real world etc. IMO it's the furthest thing from the real world or a housewife. 

"Has the show always been this bad?" TPTB have never been the casts' friends. They have always encouraged stunts, drama, etc. Remember Stacey slipping a pair of panties in Matt Grant's pocket? TPTB gave her the panties to do so. Just an example.
The fact they are actually optimizing the "cringeworthy" theme tells me it may be banking on this for the season.

Totally, and I love it. It's always something to talk about. Only sometimes do I really want it to work out with the lead and chosen one and would rather see a love story. I wished it was more of healthy balance of both, but I can see where it gets boring and people won't talk about it.

I have to laugh about your mention of Jesse Palmer. We were coming home from a cocktail party tonight and DH was talking about tomorrow's games, worried he'd miss them if he took me to the snow which has fallen all over San Diego (just missed my house). And then he said he had to tell me that he is very impressed by Jesse Palmer. He said that Jesse is articulate, knowledgeable and entertaining and an excellent sportscaster. I said, "no way"' he said yes, and that Jesse is making a fortune starring in dr. Pepper commercials! Sorry this is OT....pls move to Jesse's thread if he has one.

That's funny but your dh is right, IG. Jesse is doing very well for himself in college football and he is all of that. Who knew?

I totally agree, he called the Miss St / Georgia Tech game last night and I am amazed, it really doesn't seem like the same guy from the show except for the looks.

As far as Jesse Palmer---he always had that goal in mind---sportscaster. Add that to he grew up. I agree, I like him and he does a good job.
