It's a possibility she could be lonely? Even if it was just not too long ago. I agree, I would say that going on the show would be for me if I was in that situation.. but who knows.

Did some snarking around on this chick and you should check it out, look at her Facebook and instagram, the girl has some kind of look-at-me going on, odd given that there's almost no comments about her husband at all, uh, make that ex-husband, nothing. Clearly she had little feelings for the dude.

^ Just because it is not on facebook does not mean she didn't have feelings for him. JMHO.

^Yeah. I keep my real FB page quiet.  The only things I ever post are pets/babies /inspirational. The real personal me has no place on FB.
Her fB has some lovely photos of her and her child.

I'm going to give her a break because we don't know what she's feeling or went through. I remember when West was on Ashley's season and I will admit feeling negatively towards him going in because of his backstory (wife died in bathtub). They didn't use the story on the show and I ended up liking him a lot & find him to be funny on Twitter.

Yes, I will try to have an open mind about Juelia going into the season and not penalize her for her backstory. I don't think it is fair to blame her or make assumptions about the state of her marriage before or after her husband's suicide. My family had a suicide death so I am particularly sensitive that Juelia may be bullied regarding this.

Reality Steve has some letters from her deceased husband's family on his page; they are not too happy with how Juelia portrayed him.

There are three stories to every situation. 
Unfortunately, Juelia, herself made a bad decision when choosing this show to air private, family issues.  Key words being private issues.

I think Juelia's error was in going into too much detail. She could have simply said "My husband committed suicide and I was overwhelmed with a new baby and a terrible grief to cope with." That would have elicited a great deal of sympathy from Chris as well as everyone else. The details really don't belong in this setting nor was Chris comfortable in hearing them. That part of the conversation should have taken place much later in the relationship if it progressed that far.

I was wincing as she described her husband's last night and thinking "His poor family having this televised." To me, it shows a total lack of consideration and a great deal of self absorption.
