Any idea what this thing behind Tim is?

Now that it's flipped I don't see the final  rose. I was looking for it in the original s/cap.

So I still think it is near the Pearl. These pics I found may me think it may still be next to Pearl Moorea. To the left of Pearl as outlined on the map I posted upthread but more to the left (just to the jetty one sees going out). If it is not a boardwalk and if it is a stage it would probably already be at the resorts and able to be rented for weddings since Pearl is known for these things (just my thought).

Anyway, here are the pics I found of boardwalks with benches at the end of them that are located next to the Pearl resort (the left of it so would see the jetty/rocks/wall).

I could be wrong and it is not these benches near the Pearl or a stage that is rentable and these may be located anywhere on Moorea. I am just going with it for now since it is close to Pearl and we know they stayed there. I am still thinking it is a stage since the wall/jetty is there and the rocks/water is right by it .. but again can be a boardwalk.

When looking at the FRC location, I'm not seeing any railings, only benches. Logically the only types of areas that go out on water, that don't have railings, are docks. They're designed to be able to get on and off water vessels, whatever kind they are. I'm thinking they transformed the dock area (that we see on the far right in this sc). Could also be another dock somewhere (they put benches out sometimes for people to fish off of, or just to enjoy a sunset)

OT - was away this weekend, in Sudbury, Sachelle's hometown. Have to admit when in Costco and Homesense .... I was looking to see if I might see her

the floor is plain wood too, not only the benches
it would be hard to set up something like this
do you think they have some kind of lodge or restaurant by the sea?

AAL, the benches you're showing in your sc's have arms on them, the ones at FRC don't. Also, FRC is very close to shoreline, not out in water like that.

I've checked wedding locations at Moorea Pearl, and they're performed on the beach near the middle of resort by a big tree, so it's not their wedding location.

To me it almost seems elevated above rocks underneath. Cannot see sand in that SC just rocks and water. So, likely something permanent but the color of the benches and bottom of the wood floor seems very bright like it was freshly painted/stained or just may be that color and matches the location. So far just looking at Maharepa area (Hotel Kavetka, Club Bali Hai, etc... and Cook's bay in addition to PPT area). Not seeing this platform bench and the only benches seen are the one's posted but, like I said, the rocks and water underneath the SC make it likely on land or just a bit extended/elevated?  

ETA: Have we seen this SC of Tim yet?
It was in the preview for Finale part 1 and I thought it was near Opunohu Bay but that was a random guess due to the darker sand... Probably won't see it again but it had a VO of Tim saying he had to make the most difficult decision of his life...

that's what I'm think sophie - I think it'll be some sort of dock-type structure.
