Tim says his real fans get him because he is a kid at heart (from what I can read into him watching The Lion King). To me, that makes me think of Trish more than April.

During the HTD on Brad's season there were four ladies.....down to three and what was the same pattern is that Bianka's name was called second and she was nervous holding her hands and biting her bottom lip....plus the HTD order was Bianka was shown first and Whitney last...which April was last since Lisa because of drama....we discussed the actually filming order here plus I have the HTD anaylsis here upthread also

Tim says his real fans get him because he is a kid at heart (from what I can read into him watching The Lion King). To me, that makes me think of Trish more than April.

I think he is implying his real fans that understand his personality his kid, fun loving personality.....yes he is a thinker by following his blog but he is quirky....I just don't think April's intense mysterious personality matches his....you can see in the bloopers I prime example is Sachelle and him playing with the pizza making the pizza kiss, he started that and Sachelle played along but you could see she was just a little too proper but man I could Trisha just being all over that. JMO

Tim stated in interviews that he would be 100% with each person and then right before the rose ceremony do a 'gut check' and go with his gut. He even said he did that when looking into Lisa's eyes, that by looking into her eyes his gut would tell him what to do.

I am not so sure about him letting either girl go before FRC. He did say his season is different from Brad's and we saw that but why not extend that line of thinking to say his ending is not like Brad's (letting Whitney go) either? Maybe he kept both F2 girls and did a gut check pre-FRC on who he picks or he is still undecided? He even asked his mom, "who do you see coming through the door?" as if to say he can see both. And I think he could, see both of them in his life.

As he stated, and most agree, Trish and April are very different and seem to bring out different sides to Tim. This is because Tim has these different sides to him. I think for him, it will come down to what side of himself he wants to be more of and how that side meshes/matches up with which girl: fun-loving Trish or mysterious April. Based on his constant personality (what he shows more than not in SM, talking, being open to adventure, new things, happy happy happy) I would say he would describe himself as fun-loving.

AAL...this is for you....I found what I posted about comparison of Brad's HTD vs Tims HTD
So I re-watched Brad's HTD dates with Bianka and Whitney. I was so surprised how similar the editing was compared to this season's HTD.

Order of HTD shown in episode Bianka first / Trisha first
Bianka talking with mom in kitchen / Trisha talking with mom in kitchen
Bianka's date was all day Brad left at night / Trisha's date was all day Tim left at night
Bianka told Brad "I am falling for you" and Brad said it back to her / Trisha told Tim and he told it back to her but with "long time ago" after each expressing their feelings a passionate kissing scene.

RC - Bianka shown nervous and was called out second and she was in the middle (F4)

I can do the same with comparing Whitney and April's HTD because they are pretty much a match in edit also.....serious questions, had to talk, questioning from family about first impressions and feelings etc. Just killing some time and thought I would check it out and I was so surprised .... know does that mean the same result no, but in hindsight it just might mean something to remember for next time.

Just thinking of this.... Tim talked about his insecurities and how he would give advice to the next Bachelor not to worry about feeling insecure. This can be applied to mysterious-April but also to fun-loving-Trish.

Applying Tim's insecurities and his feelings to Trish:
- He expressed to Trish on 'his most romantic date ever' that he was afraid of getting hurt.
- He also seemed to coax her to tell him her feelings when they were skating... he said 'what's up buttercup?' and Trish was VO saying she wanted to tell him she was falling for him.
- Later, after her family meets Tim, Trish tells Tim how she feels and Tim now feels safe/secure enough to let Trish know that he felt that way a long time ago (Italy maybe?).
- At the end credits we see Trish and Tim with the hockey stick and Tim is cracking up because of the whole innuendo (fun-loving).
- We have BachCanada posting a photo of Tim talking to Trish's dad! There is also a photo posted by BachCanada with Tim, Trish and the crew laughing at hockey rink
- For upcoming episodes, we hear Tim say he is crazy for Trish...... I recall in an earlier preview (maybe the first episode?) that we hear Tim say "I am crazy for her". It is possible that the "her" was edited in to replace "Trish" which we hear now for the upcoming FD/etc dates.
- If one looks at just what Tim is SAYING about his feelings and to whom he is addresses this in the person to, then that is Trish.


P.S. It is interesting that Tyler stated 'Fun-loving Trish' and 'Mysterious April' because that is what Tim said about Trish and April. In his blog regarding Trish's HTD, he describes that "seeing Trish's loving side" really changed things for Tim. He already referred to Trish as fun so fun-loving is her description. For April, we had a PI and VO of Tim saying she is mysterious and getting her to open up/see what is beneath it all. So, really he described the sides to himself. Tim is fun-loving and he can also be mysterious. Interesting to see what he picks (I posted above what his constant personality may be...).

Question, does anyone know when Trish's birthday is? The month? Would be interesting to see the day or month. Tim is Aries. (April is Gemini).

Thanks again for your thoughts....because I am in agreement with most of it....well majority of it....I think he was very intrigued with April, I think he wanted to get through the layers with her (first cocktail party) almost like a challenge. It is funny to go back and watch that scene, when he says "and then here comes April Brockman" ..... but the edit has been really good at misleading with his thoughts and comments because I believe the cue for me was when he posted in his blog about the group canoe boat date where Trisha got a rose and the girls said "do you think he is laughing for real" or something like that and in his blog he states:
The dragon boat race was amazing and so much fun. I just hope the ladies had fun, too! They all definitely worked hard, and my evening with the winners was as magical as the Chinese Gardens surrounding us. I got to know some of the women a lot better and there were some surprises, too… some very welcome surprises.

That date was the most boring thing ever but the welcome surprise was Trisha, group date rose. I am not saying he fell then but he wanted to know more about her and on facebook Trisha says they talked about her charity work and in his recent blog and the question about what he is doing after and what he learned he is passionate about the charity work he is and wants to do (not word for word). So when he was able to just sit with her again on their private island I think that was the start. JMO

Personally, for a love-match, I definitely think it is better to be described as fun-loving than mysterious.

If Trish was described as fun-Trish then I would not want to be just described as fun. But to say fun-loving, add on the loving part, this part is what Tim talks about in his HTD blog.

Now if April had been described as vulnerable but mysterious, then yes. But just mysterious alone seems distant, imo. Could be a choice to add drama since we see the upcoming upset April and not so great MTP. I do think it is interesting though that thus far, concerning 'drama' scenes/previews/SCs they were not misleading at all. We saw many of them regarding Lisa and none of them were misleading. She was sent home. Before a HTD.
