^ Regardless of what she's like in real life, that's wasn't necessarily my point. Production decided to label her as "beauty queen" even though it appears she has another job. IMO, I just thought it was interesting and perhaps it could be part of the storyline given to the two girls. April didn't have much growing up and she gets the gorgeous yacht date. Trisha is listed as a beauty queen and she gets the outdoor, horse date. I personally don't look too much into who is given which date as I often think it's all part of the storyline.

So to make sure I understand your statement highlighted you believe that all dates are just outlined to match the storyline that productions is trying to produce? Tim wouldn't have a say on who he wants on which dates? Am I understanding correctly?

No. Not every single date, but I do think occasionally that happens just like Josh, who was portrayed to be just a former baseball player, and he got the baseball FD. Just like with Nick, who Andi seemed to be passionate with, got the private beach date so it made good television and confused the viewers. Like I said, I found it interesting that a girl who didn't grow up with much got the extravagant yacht and the "beauty queen" got the nature date. Simple as that for me. It's my opinion. Not saying the lead doesn't have any input and I'm not saying it's all on production, but I do think they like to cater to the storyline.

But if the lead does have all the input or some of it like you seem to be leading towards in your response to me, then I would certainly rather be on an extravagant yacht sailing beautiful waters with my F1.

I think he has some control, but by the time they are at the Fantasy dates, they are all in a gorgeous place, so production probably decides the details if it makes a difference to the story. Didnt Cat say that riding an elephant was on her bucket list? So they gave her date that - right?

If the Lead has a reason to want someone for a particular date, then I think they will agree to the request. I think Andy Baldwin really wanted Tessa to have the glamour/dressup date and so she did.  I think Tim really wanted April to meet his friend in Toronto - so she did. If any contestant has a horrible fear of heights, they have a good chance of getting a rapelling date too (early in the season - not on the overnite dates.)

Yes Cat got to ride an elephant in Thailand which was on her bucket list.

I think the leads have some control of they complain/beg the producers enough to take a certain contestant on a date. Otherwise it's pretty much up to the producers.

I asked the question just so I can understand your thought process no hidden agenda at all Ash....we just think differently.   Tiger and Umngirl I think like you....Jason and Molly's podcasts helps you understand the process....but keeping it to BachCan franchise production, Brad spoke in his interviews and such that he did have a say....that he knew who wanted to spend time with plus a producer encouraged him to take a closer look at Bianka and they will give him time with her instead of someone else.....as to the highlighted comment tiger you just might be right but that didn't make the show.  So the general public doesn't know that and production chose not to show it also....I don't know why but they didn't.   I know you have that as a very big deal for April but I don't and that is okay.  I just think if that was such a big deal why didn't it make it in the episode and why didn't Tim mention it in his blog.....but those are my questions in my head that I just haven't got answered.  But they will be really soon.

I remember JPG mentioning things that were not shown on TV about his time with Nikki. I disagree that just because it does mot make tv means it is not significant. Sometimes it is cut off so that it isnt too clear that one person I s the F1. April put that in her blog for a reason and i believe it is a big deal for Tim to introduce his closest friends to her. Imho

My opinon.....I said it wasn't a big deal to me and that the public doesn't know about and I said that I didn't know why production chose not to show it. You are correct JPG did mention about the gift at the baseball field, plus the jewelry because of her birthday but it is him mentioning it in his blog it wasn't Nikki.....if Tim mentioned in his blog I would think it was a big deal....those were reason why I had Nikki at F1. FYI
