Well I can try.

This is not all original thoughts but a paraphrased set of descriptions I have found that resonated with me:

An Alpha Female is NOT afraid to submit to an Alpha Male; an Alpha Female will accept a "protector" even though they don't feel that they NEED one. An Alpha female will probably be dominant over all but her Alpha male but she will respond to and probably melt in the presence of her Alpha male, responding to the Alpha side of the male, who will in turn understand the Alpha side of the female by recognizing her strengths and allowing her to show strengths in her own areas. In the presence of the Alpha male the Alpha female no longer feels it necessary to be in charge at all times and will share "power" with the Alpha male.

I think if we look at some of the things Andi has said, beginning with the People Magazine article where she pointed out how many things Josh now "wins" in their discussions we can see how she is sharing / relinquishing some of that "power and control" which is not something she normally has done in her past; Andi is showing a softer side now that she's accepted Josh as her protector. I think many have recognized some of the changes we see in Andi but it's those very changes that are telling signs of how an Alpha female will react to an Alpha male and IMHO Josh is clearly her Alpha male. I don't think Andi could make a relationship work with anyone who is not an Alpha male, she would only dominate them.

Very interesting and I agree that Andi is an alpha female that certainly needed an alpha male. She would never have respected a man that she could push around.

It's interesting because unlike Deanna, who Andi reminded me most when the season started, she didn't want a man she could dominate. I think those types of guys totally disgusted her in how she talked about Brian on their 1:1 and his inability to take charge. I loved those PIs, she's hysterical.

I have the same questions every time I watch the MTP dates, all Patti said that this guy is loud and keep saying he is hot.. but when you compare body language btw both dates, you can't help but notice how on top of each other Andi and Josh are sitting, I am sure they noticed it too IMO.
So, yes Avie, I would love to ask her these questions.

I did notice however that in Josh's MTP, Hy initiated a hug and he didn't do that with Nick's MTP. It was obvious I think to everyone watching that she was more into Josh in the MTP. But I just wanted to know who the PARENTS felt was a better match. We just didn't see enough of those scenes. I remember in seasons past we actually got the family's reaction as to who they felt was a better pick. Whether the opinion came from a brother like Des's season or a sister like Ashley's season or a parent in the seasons before.

Avie, I agree with the bolded and am curious too (although I feel the parents are somewhat coerced into saying they like both equally for the camera). Also, we never got to see a conversation with Josh and Patty Dorfman, like we did with Nick. I would have enjoyed getting to see her perspective. I couldn't get a good reading on Andi's sister's thoughts, she seemed pretty neutral. But I definitely felt like Hy preferred Josh, based on what they showed us. Hy initiated two hugs, both after Josh asked for his blessing and when leaving. He only shook Nick's hand both times. Josh was also more confident when talking to Hy, which I think would impress him more. He's more of a guy's guy. I actually felt there were a lot of similarities between the two and could see them getting along great as in-laws.
