I mean just thinking of the ATFR telecast, they only gave J&A 10 minutes at the end, bringing out the grumpy cat, no replays of the proposal, etc…
ETA: the fact that they required them to come to the premiere when the MUST have known that the breakup with imminent....

I still think from Day 1, Josh was (to Andi) the perfect match for her, a guy who looked perfect on paper and a guy her family would love. I always wondered if she truly followed her heart.
My guess is she broke up with Josh. Truthfully, I haven't followed them at all, but that's what my gut says.

IA, Josh was perfect on paper, I think much to Andi's surprise, her heart was for Nick...
Funny, I think Josh broke up with her... finally tired of all her demands and selfish behavior.... plus a realization that she was not cut out to be the kind of partner (supportive, loving, wanting kids, able to cook, etc...) that he wanted.
Also, if you look at their BL at the premiere, Josh was much more pulled back then Andi, she's at least rubbing his back and stuff, he's totally backed off.

I know you can't trust them but Wetpaint said a similar thing about the split and also how Josh family don't care for Andi, they even have the information that Andi didn't want Nick to attend the red carpet. That she said it was her or Nick and if he comes she won't be there.


One source close to the couple tells Wetpaint Entertainment exclusively that the split has been coming for some time, stating that Andi is a “complete control freak” and that Josh’s family “hated her." Though the family never spoke about it publicly, rumors of a rift between Andi and Josh’s clan did circulate around October.

The MurrDorf insider adds that Andi’s Season 10 runner-up Nick Viall was supposed to be part of the massive rose-colored alumni cloud that permeated the red carpet on Monday. However, once Andi got wind of the invite, she told producers she wouldn’t show if he was there.

That's what my gut says also based on what I saw during the premier. I think her exaggerated behavior was due to guilt over hurting him. The way she was rubbing his back was like a parent soothing a child who has been hurt. By making a dress on the plane, she could avoid any in-depth discussion. I guess it really doesn't matter who   initiated the break up. The end result is the same. Very sad for their fans.

Maybe Patti never cooked a Turkey before because she's Jewish and not into Christmas? I'm not Jewish but I'm just guessing.

I have Jewish and Christian family members and Thanksgiving is a holiday always practiced by all and is a non-religious holiday as far as I have always known. Also, I believe Hy is Jewish and Andi's mother is not (though she may have converted) the opposite of the Murray family.  Momma Murray is Jewish and the faith normally adheres to the matriarchical line, so the saying goes "if your mother is Jewish, you are Jewish".

The only thing I find a little surprising about this news is the timing. If the Wetpaint article is right they weren't even really together on Monday with him going out with the guys and her with the girls. I'm guessing TPTB wanted them to wait until after the premier was over and if they hadn't made an appearance there would have been a lot of questions. 

It's always hard on the fans. Been there done that and it's not fun.

RS said they were still together on Monday. Obviously they were essentially on the outs, but he heard Tuesday morning that it was going to end at some point, so he didn't even know when. Apparently it either happened yesterday or today officially. I don't know how he knew this, but he said they stayed in the same hotel room while there. The person who sat next to them on the plane out to LA tweeted them to let them know he enjoyed their company and thought they were a nice couple, so apparently it doesn't seem like they absolutely despise each other.

OMG, the title for USA Today's article on the breakup is:

The Bachelorette and Aaron Murray's brother broke up

BURNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!  

A break up is hard enough without the media referring to you as someone's brother. Really?? Shame on USA Today.

I want to add something regarding the Wetpaint article just mentioned. In the past they(Wetpaint) have had "people, reporters" whatever you would like to label them on this forum reading and then going back to their site and publishing. They do this with RS, too, read his site and then publish. So I would take Wetpaint out of any equation as being a reliable source as their source could be what they gathered from "us".

This is kind of off-topic, but to me it says a lot about how Andi may have been raised:  In that AH video clip, A and J discuss the recent holidays, and A says that on Thanksgiving her mom cooked a turkey for the first time.  Really? At like 50+ she never cooked a turkey before?  Seems so odd to me. But, maybe that's how they've lived.  You know, on the show A did say she eats sushi 5 days a week.  To me that's code for: "I don't cook!" Maybe they were on the fence for a while and going through the major holidays together just accentuated their differences (traditions, view of what family means, interest in cooking and kids, earning and spending money, etc).  Maybe it became more clear that they weren't right for one another after all of the major holidays and all of the work and compromise that goes into those. Just a thought.

This ^^^^ On paper it looked good. In reality not so much, two very, very different families and upbringing.  I see more similarities between Josh and Nick if they should decide to get engaged and make a go of it, than either men with MEandI.
