Yes, we had a pretty brutal winter this past year.  That is Chicago, but Cecelia knows more about downtown than I do - I am in the suburbs and rarely venture downtown these days.  

You are in San Diego - correct? Why in the world would you want to ever leave - it is so beautiful there! I was there about 7 years ago - and loved it! I would love to return there one day.

   Just stay in the Nick forum - I read elsewhere but I am done responding because it gets me nowhere but frustrated.

Notarose - I definitely get you.  I asked the "how is she still single" question rhetorically.  I didn't get married until 30 - on purpose.  Career, just too busy.  I asked it meaning that  if she is ready to look, she should be swamped with opportunities.  On paper she sure seems interesting, smart, beautiful.  I think the Nick/Sharleen match would be very, very interesting - in a positive way.  She seems very insightful from what little I read.

Yes. All in Chicago. The last one with the young girl is on the corner of Chicago and Wabash in the Gold Coast area of Chicago.
The one with the plumber is in the West Loop which looks like Fulton street and those condo buildings. Which is probably the area where he lives.

Yes, we had a pretty brutal winter this past year.  That is Chicago, but Cecelia knows more about downtown than I do - I am in the suburbs and rarely venture downtown these days.

I haven't been to Chicago but I've been to San Diego once. I thought it was beautiful and of course I love the Ocean.

Sometimes it's really hard not to respond to the negative comments on the other thread, so I try not to go there. I cannot understand what's not to like about Nick. He's just adorable!  :cutesmile!: It makes me wonder what it is we all have in common that we see Nick as this great guy and others see him differently when we've watched the same show.

Yes, but I also live in the suburbs. San Diego is beautiful all year round, but downtown Chicago is much more interesting than downtown San Diego.
Whenever our friends come to visit us, they always want to go to the beach. I am like, why? You will get yourselves so messy! I've only been to the beach like 10 times in my 20+ years living here

Yes, but I also live in the suburbs.  San Diego is beautiful all year round, but downtown Chicago is much more interesting than downtown San Diego.

I love the ocean but hate sand.  I just hate the way it feels and the mess it makes.   I don't even like when my kids track into my house from their sand box.  But the ocean itself is beautiful.  

I love downtown Chicago but I could never afford to live there.

I miss coming here more often, but so much work, so much to do what I've been leaving for later and now that later has come... But reading you is a pleasure... Not guilty at all for it. I miss chipping in the conversations, now I come when it's all said and done. bTW great discussion, kudos to you stuckinsc, thank you all for bringing up the photos, thanks to all who keep supporting our thread and Nick. ETA. P.s. I don't like sand beaches either. Only spent 1 summer with crazy hot sand in Turkey and swore never again. Does it get that hot in SD too? Hot that you cannot even walk on it? Or you get used to it and I' m just whinning.
