Jodi fans shouldn't be mad at Nick, they should be mad at Andi.  She is the one that did the deed with Nick, mere days before she accepted a proposal from Josh.  She told Josh at the FRC "she loved him from the moment she saw him" but yet still found the need to sleep with Nick.

So either, Andi's feelings were stronger for Nick than she stated, or Josh wasn't the one from the beginning.  Either way she is dishonest.

If Josh fans are truly fans, they wouldn't be praising this couple, because Josh truly deserves better.    When they break up(and they will) I can almost bet Nick is going to get the blame for that as well.  

Andi should have gave him a better explanation for breaking it off, instead she said "if we were together, we would over analyze everything."  That is the stupidest break up excuse I have ever heard.  Nick deserved closure, and it's shame that Andi was so cold with her responses.

Her relationship with Josh is not going to last, IMO.  She has already started it out by lying.

Re the bolded, several of them claimed no way she did the deed with Nick. So now they are taking it out on Nick because they didn't get the pristine fairytale they were hoping for. If they break up, it's on them and not on Nick, good luck and best wishes to them though.

I feel the need to defend Nick on other threads but it is so tiring.

 It's just  because those who like meandi and josh will not see the other side any more than I could start feeling good about their couple-dom.

Yeah well, fans could not see any other side besides Emily and Brad true love forever, Emily and Effie, and Des and Brooks. Time will tell.

Josh just falls further and further down the ladder in my opinion.  Maybe they are a perfect match after all.  Maybe the sports blogger should reconsider her initial opinion of Josh, I know I am.

I remember fellow poster Grace said no way Nick would not have told her he loved her while they were in the ocean before they went to the tree since they were far away from the camera. And Bingo he did, he mentioned it at the AFTR but didn't register until I read this in this article. And I do remember that scene where she was shown throwing her head back as Nick said. Nick may be aspirational but he sure as heck is not delusional as some may think!!!!

AWESOME!    I saw Billy Bush's vine (I think) earlier and loved it.  Can't wait to see this.  Nick was the star of the Ette this year (all the good and bad) and we all knew that even before last night's events.

There's something disingenuous about using the "privacy card" when you've signed up to be on a reality show about love (and -- let's admit it -- sex). There's something disingenuous about having sex with a person whom you know is in love with you (and whom you let believe you love right back, contract or not), and then dumping them and subsequently defending your actions by saying, "Your take on [what the relationship/sex meant] might have been somewhat different than mine." There's something disingenuous about answering the question, "You knew I loved you, so why did you make love with me if you didn't love me back?" with the answer, "That's exactly why I didn't make you go through the rose ceremony." There's something disingenuous about saying that your intense feelings for this guy (while you dated, kissed and f*cked him) were real, when you just admitted that you were in love with someone else the whole entire time, a person you planned on getting engaged to and having a monogamous relationship with for the rest of eternity!

As a straight man, Nick should be commended for being willing to be so emotionally vulnerable in public, and for expressing the idea that sex can mean something. Being in touch with your emotions and believing that sex is sacred are not the domains solely of women.

Yeah, I thought that was really sweet.  Not that Nick brought it up, but that it was how he felt.

Not a role men typically play.

I don't mind if sex is not for love but in this context I do. It's a show about getting engaged, about marriage - that steps it up to the next level. I can tell u right now I'd only sleep with my F1 man. Or if I wasn't sure I'd sleep with none. I wish others did the same.

In order to be a successful couple outside the show, I'd think you'd have to only sleep with one.  I mean really, the thought that Nick had the first overnight date, then she went to see Josh - talk about sloppy seconds.  Yuk, it just grosses me out.  Although Josh doesn't seem to care, he just has that big smile plastered on his face all day, so I don't know how much thought he gives to it all.  I don't know if I could get over that.

Andi referred to them having sex on the final date, she said something like, "Think of all that you've enjoyed" with a smile - I'd have to watch it again to know the exact words, but both my hubby and I thought she referred to having sex.  It was all part of her reassuring him, which she did over, and over, and over.  Never saw so much reassurance.  What is wrong with her to do that to someone?  

It is refreshing to see a man say that making love actually meant something to him, and for him to be hurt by her having taken it so far when she now states Josh was it for her from the beginning.  I truly think she is cold, and an actress.  She fooled most people - everyone is left confused by this season.  

Thanks to Andi, I also don't know if I want to watch The Bachelorette anymore, I don't like bullies, and seeing people hurt for no real reason is not entertainment for me.  This might be my last Bachelorette rodeo.  

These are my real feelings, sorry if I'm being negative.  I was almost 100% positive this whole last month here, so I get one negative message, right?!  I just feel this way today - and am glad Nick saw a flash of Andi cold and bitter.  Perhaps that really will help him move on.  You'd think she would have had some compassion for him.  Nope.

  

What really pushed me over edge is Andi saying that it was love at first sight for her with Josh. If this is true, why Nick? Who decided that Nick should be ...

"the One" to get the First Impression Rose ...
"the One" to comfort her when Eric left ...
"the One" to get date without date card ...
"the One" to sneak over to her hotel room in Brussels ...
"the One" to get "most important rose of season" (her words) with GDR/HTD ...
"the One" to get the secluded beach date on FS with significant off-microphone time...
"the One" to be first in the FS with Andi and all that it entails ...

If Andi was primarily the one to make these decisions and put Nick in this position of confidence, she is lying to herself and to all of America about it being Josh from the start.

If TPTB hand picked Nick as the most vulnerable/likely to fall in love and Andi only "acted" in her role as Bachelorette with Nick, wow. This show really sucks.
