One past tidbit is that JP's mother reads body language and that was how she so quickly warmed up to Ashley on JP's HTD - she knew then that Ashley loved JP and would never hurt him. Maybe Hy also reads - have to watch him tonight. If the edit hasn't obscured reality, the look on Hy's face when Nick was talking tells me he didn't much like what he was seeing.

What you describe is how two people who are in tune with each other and able to read each others body language might connect with each other "in public" even though others are around. Even though Andi was giving a rose to Nick - she was "telling" Josh she was thinking of him - not Nick.

Exactly!  The order of the roses didn't matter this RC.  So she made Josh wait.  Only rime he was last all season.  When it didn't matter.  Unless you count the time when the editors made it look like he was last.
