In reading through the boards I noticed some think Hy would give Josh permission and love him just because they are both UGA. Sorry, but I think that is selling Hy short. Hy wants only the best for his daughter no matter what the man's last name is. I think he gave both men permission because he trusted his daughter to make the best decision for her. From Hy's reaction I 100% believe he thought Josh would be her choice, but by giving both guys permission the decision was in her hands.

By the end of Josh's MTP he won the family over, especially Hy. When Josh got up from asking permission Josh shook his hand and Hy initialed a man hug. (no hug with Nick, that would have been weird anyway) Then when he left Josh actually gave Hy a kiss on the cheek as they hugged it out. I would say it went well.

Can't wait to see pictures when the family's meet, and when Hy and Josh go golfing!

I love that Josh kisses guys on the cheek or forehead! I loved it when he did that with Brian when he was sent home. So sweet! I missed that cheek kiss with Hy, though. Will have to watch again!

I loved how Josh said that Hy was his man! They will have a great father/son-in-law relationship, and I would love to see them both on the golf course together.
