I don't see a table. The bottle of water looks to be on a towel also.

So, there is a chair between him and the pack of cigarettes.  His hair is shorter in today's picture at the airport, I am pretty sure of it.

I am blaming it on my bad eye, because I see no table!

It looks to be two lounge chairs with towels on them, however, the backs are laid down flat. It seems there are two people with Nick.
