Above is a line from the episode description that seemed "odd" to me. Why comment about Nick and what he would or wouldn't do and not Andi, who is the lead? After watching the latest previews and hearing Nick make a comment about not getting engaged, it sort of makes sense...for now.

If you do not believe that Andi lets Nick go before the FRC, then you will get what I am trying to say. It all ties back to Marcus' comment about Nick "walking away" at F2. This comment and the finale previews are trying to make us think the F1 (not Josh because he didn't express any doubts) doesn't propose but walks away and breaks Andi's heart. This is my personal take on the previews.

Why do you think ABC chose to write " to the altar" instead of "to propose"?

"To the altar" comes after you propose.  Correct?

I do think Nick walks but I do think that if the plane video is real, it may be based on her not giving him a sign that she is all in.O He said that on his plane video that she told him it was hard. If he walks and she chooses Josh it wil be similar to Des season where Brooks walked and she found love with Chris. I do not think this is the same and do think CH propping Nick in his blog is different than his putting down Brooks was.

your 2nd par: very spot on on the Marcus foreshadowing the preview run down  .(Note that Marcus get booted by Andi on then the next epi (8) after he made that comment on epi 7 ). as you prolly can tell, i am firm in Josh will be let go before the FRC. the remaining obstacle definitely on Nick's part: will he overcome his fear of getting brokenhearted again (ala JP of Ash,really, IMO) and propose?. Note that he injected the fear in the preview, Andi as well: the rose staring at me ..implying her anxiety whether Nick will propose.

By proposing, edit-wise it means he 'negate' the guys's false accusation of him and his intention. Wow! its been a Nick show since day 1, isnt it?   . I think i cant get more excited for Monday !

If this is in reference to my pointing out his tweet could simply be about the lights on the plane, I apologize. I just thought I would make it known that there are airlines that have actual neon lights on them because some people may not know that.

2 guys who want to say ILY on HTD,
one says it, the other doesn't.
She lets go the one who told her, because she couldn't reciprocate the feelings, very much aware of the feelings of the other one.
Both guys with very similar posture, both guys with very similar characters (not the same by any means, but I see Marcus maturing, so he'll get there eventually) ... so much, that they are the two who just can't click together (but I still like Marcus, even if the D*word could be reverted to him too, just for the fact of THE number, but I don't judge).

All the season TPTB, with the help of the guys, tried to install the doubt about Nick to the viewers. And as Julychild wonderfully thought of, those lines, together with what we see in the preview, are indeed connected with the ending.
But really ... you really think he would walk away, once he knows that she wants only him?
Beside ... always returning to the V-edit (Mura explained it better).
They dragged him down (all for the show) and now they catapult him to the top again.
He will get his [insert any word you mean] and prove everyone wrong.

I honestly don't think he walks, I do think he probably felt something was not right by the LCD, because he does mentioned something like that on the plane video, that is why he only said he disagreed and doesn't try to change her mind. I truly wish there was no letter fiasco. Just want him to walk away with his dignity intact at the ATFR........and then call Sharleen.

With regard to the preview, just want to that Nick saying he won't propose without knowing he's "the one" is pretty significant.

I’m very interested to see how this plays out on the show and will not be surprised if it is somehow related to the ‘explosion’ that CH has been promising us… :atomic:
