The sand in the bottle is a memory made between Nick and Andi, just them together.  So, my personal preference (and Lord knows I'm biased on this point!) is that Nick's gift is much more meaningful.  (Color me polka dotted and dip me in red wine please!)

My opinion is that it doesn't matter when they go to LA, they all have work schedules to deal with.  Perhaps Josh is doing some promo for The Bachelor, because I think he is the next Bachelor for sure.  (IMO)  I don't believe the video is a real "gotcha" as I think it was staged, and I don't know what to make of the snap chat account because I don't know if that was real either, I've never seen anything about it, just heard rumors about it.  I can tell you that the only thing that bothers me, being a Nick fan is that Andi's dad follows Josh's Mom on twitter - that is odd to me if there isn't a relationship going there, why doesn't he follow Nick's family (some of us do!)  Or perhaps he followed her pre-Bachelorette season and didn't want to be rude and unfollow her.  That is the single nugget that gives me some doubts on my fantasy ending.  Anyhoo - there are a lot of SM things that are unexplained, and I understand why you are confused.  IF you look only at the love story, I think Nick wins hands down, not only in what happened, but how the producers want the love story told.  Just watch the segment where Nick gives Andi the storybook and reads it to her, and how they splice the real life love story in to that segment.  We are close to the finish line, why would the producers put so much effort in to showing this beautiful love story just to have it end?  It is all the outside SM noise that makes it a true mystery, the love story that is shown on TV is all Andi and Nick.  (I realize others see this differently!)  Thanks for talking to us about this!!

all i can is just offering my 2 cents and my experience. ITA with KG...

in a foiler-ish season, editing &storyboarding play a very crucial part IMO.i tend to think there is a trade-off between foiler and a LS unfold comprehensively. The more smoking gun the foilers the merrier the Wuv Story....thus i said numerous times...hard to complain!  . When you are convinced there are foilers scheme being orchestrated you just ignore the opponent 'clues' (obviously, since those all part of the scheme) . But that is just my approach. and it worked on Des's season. Hopefully second time is the charm for me!  

i think Monica or other Brooks's fans know best the SM clues with him. I do know Des's mom following Brooks and Brooks's sis was following Des :shocked!: . SCMIIW. I was too busy 'decoding' my Prince's subtle clues back then..and i found myself getting more  in decoding Nick's very clever, very though provoking, mind-games-ish clues this season..... I assume the spoiled F2 (who is the actual F1) needs to express his existance/relevance as the F1 in very subtle ways as possible...for not leaking the ending.

There is an analogy of Brooks on cruise and JOsh in Cancun, IMO. I too think he will get the gig. A curve ball ending on the Ette for him but also a curve ball for next love quest opportunity (not Chris, as all have assumed all along, the term Curve Ball brought up by CH). All is good in Fleissian Universe. As long as we can minimize the impact of the explosive ending...  

 Just to name a few:
Brooks also followed Des the whole season while no other contestants did.
Des mom was fangirling all over Bres Brooks and Des constantly appeared offline at similar times
 Brooks was seen in many airports around the weekends during the airing of the show-
heck a girl on twitter even swore she saw Brooks/Des on a beach in Florida and this was during a time there was proof of Brooks actually being in Florida.

Again it is always easier to say "see another clue!" when your person is the spoiled F1. Alas last year I learned the hard way so if people read my posts here and think I am just being stubborn or delusional about this season, please understand last season I was that other side (team spoiled F1-not to be on the bandwagon but because I genuinely love Brooks) and I was certain with everything that showed that it would be Brooks. When the 1000% RS spoilers and all the other for certain clues ended up WRONG I learned my lesson never to take this stuff at face value again. Watching this season, Nick is the winner whether the girl is smart/brave enough to pull the trigger or not ( I think she will be) but if she isn't Nick still wins. This whole season has been revolving around him and his relationship with Andi. The host of the show has already repeatedly labeled Nick as the one Andi aspires to be with and the change she WANTS to make while Josh is just the old comfortable route that is nice for a bit and then falls apart. That is definitely no ringing endorsement if this is indeed the final couple at the end. Inadvertent or not, CH basically implies Andi picking Josh as a cop out.

What do you guys make of the crying in the room? I do think it is nick's room.

Nutty - I've been following the sleuthing of the crying room and find the proof of it being nick's to be inconclusive....to me it's definitely the same layout, but for the chair and plant behind them....just can't tell if it is a 100% match.

OT.....in looking at the floor plans at the resort, I also question why nick had that big suite, while josh was in a 1bedroom. Room type used to be significant, but perhaps not anymore and not a big deal.

one of the bigger red flags for me from that preview was the editors inserting old caps of josh in the lavender shirt. those are caps from the FD episode when he did that video for andi, not MTP/LCD (unless he repeated the outfit....I doubt it a repeat). The voice over on those caps is "will either guy propose?" or something similar which would normally lead the viewer to believe the scene represents when the guy goes to meet with neil lane. IMO, the reason those old caps are in there, is likely there are no caps of josh meeting with nl.......andi let him go prior to this. But we will just have to see how this all plays out.......

When Hy meet JPG he focused heavily on "time" and "roses".  Hy was NOT impressed on how late in the season Pookie had to wait before getting her 1-1 date and how she only got 2 dates (the second being part of a GD). That wasn't good enough for his girl.

This season
When Pookie's family spoke with her at the beginning of epi 1, Hy said that when she brings 2 guys to meet them (obviously expecting two as per the show format) that she should be certain at that point that only 1 is the man for her.

What does Nick & Andi's story show the Dorfmans?
Time:
epi 3 - 1 on 1 date (early in the season)
Venice - another 1 on 1 (will she tell them about the surprise of no date card and in the presence of all the remaining guys?)
Belguim - late night walk in Brussells
             - GD 1 on 1 time
Yes, there was ample extra time as well. Most importantly is how further along as the season progressed, the more overall time they created for each other.

Roses:
FIR plus the usual

Special moments to share with the folks:
- Nick creates his own date:champagne & strawberries epi 2 because he hadn't seen her all week
- normal first date: bike, hike, watch the sunset before going to dinner.  Obviously there really was nothing to do but talk all day and they still enjoyed each other's company at the end of it.
- flowers & thank you note after first date
- Nick goes to comfort Andi after Eric left as she was upset
- hahaha, salty Nick in a pout because he wants Andi to himself (I think Hy could relate to this)
- Nick taking Andi outside the hotel to spend time rather than staying in her hotel room
- Nick repeating to Andi he wants to marry her on "sacred ground" (a Catholic Abbey - we know he practices his faith)
- they talked about children and child rearing before meeting his parents
- Nick introducing Andi to both family and friends in his hometown, including his BFF who was responsible for him being on the show
- Nick & Andi special brew on tap (The company Chris Viall works for makes labels among other things)
- Andi says that both Nick's parents gave their approval
- creating a fairytale book of the love quest thus far
- he told her he loved and why.  He will give the Dorfman's exactly the same reasons.  




... and incase they missed any of that, she's wearing a red rose dress.

I went back to video and slo-moed through the scene and just couldn't get a clear enough picture of what the charms were...looked to be about 5 or 6 charms, all gold..just really can't make out what they are.

Josh's gift is nice too, but it is the tired storyline of a baseball career that is so far in the past, and Andi had no part of his life back then.

Personalized baseball cards are nothing new and take about 5 minutes to design online, but generally several days to process and "deliver" (at least from my experience--this is a very old Bar and Bat Mitzvah theme--very old), so what I guess I am wondering is a) a computer was given to do this? b) this usually takes 3-5 days to get processed by the source--I guess if you had the app it could waive the processing. But you still need the computer/printer.

Am I crazy for imagining a T.V. wedding or any wedding between Nick and Andi this soon? OMG... Their wedding would be something to behold. I am getting excited for a wedding and we haven't even seen the FRC yet.... I have never felt strongly in any season that a spoiled F2 will get his wish of marrying the woman of his dreams! Go Nick !!!!! You are the best!!! :bigsmile:
