LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this cap, NR.  You can SEE their mental connection.  I love that Nick is looking at Andi with what I project is a mixture of admiration, love and pride... and she's like a little girl, happy to be seen in this light, basking in it, actually.       

   Andi wanted to impress him and his family.  She loves and cares about him enough to remember all those names and turned what would have been a totally intimidating situation to something that put all of them at ease with her.  It really was beautiful at the end, when the whole family and Andi were sitting in the family room, to see Nick's mom wipe a tear from her eyes because you could see that she felt Andi and Nick's strong connection.

Yes, I noticed this too. Moms always know...   
And of course she doesn't want Nick to be hurt, but can see her warnings are already too late... It's obvious, they are in love.   

In the blooper reel when the camera person breaks the plates, there is a moment right at the end of the clip where Nick's mom and Andi are sharing a laugh (Happy brought over SCs) ... and I LOVED this interaction - because both women, who love Nick, are connected... and are laughing at and with him.

I also loved that they showed Mom hugging Andi as she left. It was a 2-armed full body hug, nothing coy. Two real women that love Nick embracing each other! LOVED it.

Two things that stood out to me and is when I started thinking that she might choose him as F1. I just don't remember a lead in previous seasons pursuing a contestant like she did Nick.

In Venice when she chose Nick in front of all the guys to go on that unscheduled one on one date. When I saw that, I thought what a gutsy move on her part and that she must be really into him to have done that.  And what a date it was! The second one was at the Monastery where I just knew she was going to pick Nick again. The other guys reactions made me laugh so hard!

I know a lot of viewers even my hubby thought that Nick grabbing Andi as soon as she came in to get more time with her was an a$$ move because he already had a rose but I saw it the way Andi saw it. I reaally like a man who takes the initiative to pursue a woman he wants. The guys reaction made me laugh so hard again     because they were kicking themselves that they didn't have the guts to do the same. I love Nick!     He's a man just like Andi said.  That's a man!

Totally agree Pia. Nick is really a guy that goes for what he wants and makes no apologies. This is the way to live... free from the opinions of others that make us hesitate from doing what we want and tie us down to the status quo. Nothing worth pursuing is risk free. Nick is willing to take the risk to find love, even if it means the guys put him down (before they all kick themselves, as you mention, that they didn't do the same.) I think that's why post show, he has a lot of support. In the light of day, I'm sure these guys learned a real life lesson!!

True...i mean, why worry about the outcome while you can enjoy the 'process' all along?.  ... TY Nick and Andi for putting yoself out there..for our own pleasure and ecstasy....

I know this is Nick's fan thread... and I'm pretty sure this has been mentioned before, but I watched Josh's FD again this morning.  Andi does not lean in or reach for Josh the way she does with Nick.  She doesn't the show the same vulnerability and softness.  When in the FS hot tub, Andi didn't wrap her legs around Josh the way she did with Nick.  And perhaps most telling, when Josh tells Andi he loves her on the bench, Andi's response is to smile and touch his arm... I mean... certainly not ringing endorsement!!  

I so agree Suest with the bolded! This was glaring to me, her facial expression when Josh was telling her he loved her was to me not the right reaction when someone tells you he loves you. Now compared that to her reaction to Nick's I love you, that was raw and real. I really love them together! I know some people don't like Andi but I'm okay with her being bratty and a Diva with the guys because if a guy can overlook that like Nick does then it bodes well for their relationship. I kind of understand Andi a bit because I 'm very bratty myself with my hubby and he accepts me and actually loves me more for it. I believe a man should treat his woman like a queen.

The Venice date was very significant because I got the impression that Andi picked Nick not only to make him feel special but to also punish some of the other guys for making Nick's life a living hell on the group date in France for going after what he wanted. She was very aware that there was unnecessary drama being stirred up that night.

When Andi has been interviewed post show, most recently The Ryan Seacrest radio show, she has described Nick as somebody that is an intellectual with a lot of passion and someone who has made her feel like a woman.... To me that is code for he treats her like a Queen.
