Okay, I am going totally OT, but heck I would love Jeremiah to be lead or have his own SHA season. I adore him and his music and your avi makes me miss him more. I follow him on FB, but would love for him to find that one person, since I really believed he meant what he said. Unfortunately, he and Paige just had different desires on how they wanted to live their lives. Find him a great woman who would enjoy the farm and the music!

GA, i would think even IF they offer Nick the gig (which i highly doubt) he will turn down the offer. The poster knows him once said he had no desire to be in entertainment industry (re: when we asked her if she knew whether he was interested in the Bach gig).. In my personal opinion, he can make 250K easily, not very fond of the GD, FRC, frontrunner crap and having to follow TPTB rules (his own words on epi 7). it doesnt make any sense to me he wanna redo the ' hell' bubble all over again . JMO

i think we should wait for more definitive news before adding Nick to the poll.its typical MFnco to keep the excitement going by implying they are still open to any candidate, while in fact they might had their mind set on 1 or at most 2, real candidates. More media hype just meaning more publication to the coming season IMO.

I for one, is fan for both Arie and Nick. I had voted for Arie. I really hope Nick stay away from the Machine as far as possible. This kind of environment (with the producers manipulation and all) doesnt suit him well. As for Arie, i think he got the X factor, The network and producers love him, and he is naturally a TV gold. thats why im rooting for him as next TB, eventhough i prep myself for all possibilities, including the devil turn his strength to weakness on his own show.

You took the words right out of my mouth, murasaki1393. I tried to be supportive of the possibility on the other thread, but I have to ask: why would he want to, after the edit he got? At least the other two had spotless edits on the two 'ette seasons they were on and seem to want the gig enough. The object of the game is to be cautious of what they do on screen and not make the same boo-boos that Juan and Andi made.

Which reminds me of something quite funny...

Some of us actually questioned if AshLee was correct about Sean telling her in her fantasy suite that he had no feelings for Catherine and Lindsay (and this was, no doubt, at the suggestion of one of his handlers telling him to fib a bit for the show). HOWEVER... she was so... how can I put this politely?... intense... on Bachelor In Paradise, badmouthing Clare behind her back even though Clare soon gave up her beloved Graham. If the handlers do stir up trouble with either Chris or Arie as the lead, a lot depends on how honest and up front they are. Their accusers may be sniffed out as "over the top" eventually.

Oh, stuckinsc. Producers want someone who is malleable to be the lead. That is not Jeremiah. His main focus is his music and he's busier writing and performing now than he's ever been.  :Jeremiah :

Here is a cute little story. My mom was talking with Jeremiah's grandma after the concert in Menahga. When he had a break from signing autographs and taking pictures with fans, he came over to us. My cute little 84 year old mother told him she was so sorry that he got his heart broken. Then she said, "I have a question for you. I'd like to know if you've found someone who is worthy of your love yet." (Okay...seriously mother???) Jeremiah got a big grin on his face, put his arm around his grandma and replied that the love and support of his family is just what he needs right now. So sweet. You didn't hijack it...I did! You were talking about who you would want for the lead and why. I should have shared my story in the Jeremiah SHA thread, but I didn't know if you'd see it. It's all good. I think people will forgive us!   

So....Arie or Chris for Bach??? Or maybe Nick? Hope we find out soon!

Not sure when ABC will make their official announcement (prob not til September), but it's Chris. Any reports it's Nick or Arie aren't true
